I am having an extremely shitty day/week/etc. so seeing this post via an alert in my inbox was the only good thing to happen today. So thank you!

P.S. I even managed to burn two tries of pancakes to the point of blackness. Can I start this life over? Can it be Yuletide now? /desk/

I hear you, I not only undercooked, then burned a pan of rice, I then overcooked it too - ugh!

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We're not up to yuletide yet! It's not that far into the year! If we were up to yuletide I would have way more of my 2015 todo list crossed off!

P.S.
Hugs to the Mods and Volunteers.

Breathe, hon... It's only early September. There's plenty of year left for us if we focus on getting stuff done.

/hugs/

Hmm. According to the linked site, 20 December at 9 a.m. UTC is 20 December at 4 a.m. Eastern Standard Time for me, not the 19th. I'm confused.

I think what they're saying is if you think of getting your stuff in by midnight on the day before, you never have to worry about what time the deadline might be in your time zone. ;^)

Yup!

That is correct. However, the idea is, if you're in Northern American time zones and you are not confident with time-and-date conversions, you can trust that a fic submitted on the 19th will be in on time.
