I think I've completed all the changes/corrections I received. If you'd take another quick look at your own fandoms to make sure about things like missing characters, renamed fandoms, etc., I'd appreciate it

I'm the one who queried which "Dekarta Arameri" was intended for Inheritance Trilogy - N.K. Jemisin. I just went to look at the tag set (was curious how you'd chosen to distinguish him), and it occurs to me that "Deka (Inheritance Trilogy)" is the same person as "Dekarta Arameri (scrivener)." So you probably want to combine them/pick one.
When I'm checking things, I have a tab with the tag set open, I expand ALL the tabs, and then Ctrl-F for things -- and even then I invariably find one of the tabs didn't open, so. *g* You're welcome!
A Huffington Post piece on the differences between the film and stage versions of Once (here), both of which I've seen. Generally, though, while the plots are - of course - very similar, there are many changes, with expanded roles for a lot of the characters in the musical and a running time that's close to twice as long.
If I were requesting it, I'd...hard to say? I liked both, but somebody who's sold on the musical specifically and gets a film-only story might find the invisibility of so many stage elements a bit sad?
I've also seen both and honestly the musical left very little impact on me as far as the expanded characters went. The one thing that affected me was that the musical shows a subtitled verison of what she says to him on the beach, which actually makes the relationship between them a lot clearer. Apart from that there were a lot of random male Czech roommates learning English from soap operas and one sort of ball-busting friend of Girl's, who was given a lot to do. I think you would probably do okay with a detailed synopsis and your imagination, since the core story and most of the dialogue is still very much the same.
I'm considering offering for it, even though I have such a cloudy memory of the musical.
Original questioner here. That's an interesting take... I think I'll look at the letters and see what people are requesting before offering to write it, though. I don't tend to include a lot of characters in my stories, so if the requester just wanted a Guy/Girl-centric fic, the expanded characters might not make much of a difference. But as bethbethbeth said, a requester who specifically wanted me to recreate the musical atmosphere might be disappointed.
(To be clear: she says the same thing in the musical that she does in the movie, yes? I know what she says in the movie, but if she says something different in the musical, well, that would make quite a difference.)
