1. Characters seeking homes! If you nominated one of the following characters, we need to know what fandom it belongs to.

  • Cassius
  • Clementine
  • Richard Speight Jr.
  • June
  • Holger

    2. Collective nominations of fandoms that need to be narrower:

  • Kamen Riders series -- we can do individual series, but not the overall universe. If you nominated this and ( Read more... )

    I think you'll have to settle for something specific from her work. At the moment you've got two fandoms there, Antique Bakery and Ooku.

    Antique Bakery I've seen nominated before. After a quick search it came up with only 26 stories on AO3, so at least regarding the fics on AO3 it is eligible. Maybe check the 'when is a fandom eligible' guide for other indicators (ff.net, other archives?).
    I haven't found anything for Ooku, looks like it would be new to the AO3 tag list.

    If you've got two nominations still open, take them both. Otherwise you might have to choose one of them and run with that.

    On the characters I can't really help as I always am very specific with my characters. ^^; I know there was a discussion once how to handle characters if it really doesn't matter to you and you're fine with 'Any'. I hope someone else can help you on that. *crosses fingers*

    I remembered seeing a Yuletide treat for Ooku in the past, so I did some digging and found it in the Yuletide Madness 2010 collection. It's listed as Ooku: The Inner Chambers or Ōoku. Hope that helps!

    I see!

    Just rechecked and it IS indeed Ōoku and not just Ooku. But I guess with 3 stories (2 over 1000 words) it would still be eligible. ;)

    Now I just wonder about the 'ōo' combo and want to see it written in Japanese... ^^;

    大奥 -- so, ō meaning great and oku meaning interior (of the castle).

    Fandoms do have to be individually nominated, so it would have to be one or the other for a single nomination. But no fandom has to be in the AO3 (or ffnet) to be eligible; lack of existence in one or the other kind of proves eligibility! *g*

    And you can nominate up to four individual characters, but you can't nominate "Any" -- although you can just leave it without any characters, if what you want is basically worldbuilding in the world of that fandom. Then when requesting, you can request 0 characters, and then say in your optional details that you'd like anything about anyone, but you might then be matched to someone who offered specific ones that were nominated, or someone who offered "Any".
