Pinch hits will go out sometime after 9 am EST
We've generated the needed pinch hit list, but there's some sorting and getting ready to do that isn't going to happen tonight!
Note: if you're a pinch hitter with a deadline of the 22nd, your assignment may temporarily be missing from your assignments page. I have to go through and "undefault" all of those, which will take a little while.
On the downside, it looks like we had more defaulters than we've ever had previously, possibly around 20% or so. This may in part be due to the shorter time allowed this year, although one always hopes people will take that into account. *g* I think we also had a number of people who wisely chose "better safe" and defaulted early because they weren't sure they could finish.
On the upside, it looks like the default button is a definite plus, because we had more people default prior to the deadline, rather than just not notifying us at all! \o/
