Entourage Recs

So, there's a few of really excellent Entourage fics that dont seem to have been represented enough to me and I feel, before the reveal, that they should be read by all.

First up:

fake it if you don't belong
Faith paled in comparison to being Vincent Chase, re-creator of worlds. God had made Eric but Vince had made him E. It was hard to tell which he appreciated more.

How can you not love a fic with that in it? Really how? I dont know because I sure love it. Putting aside the fact that this was the fic I received, it's just a really stellar Entourage fic. Getting inside Eric's head is very difficult but getting inside E to get inside Vince? Pulling that off is masterful and I for one think this fic manages it brilliantly.

Plus, there's hotness. But really, that's just the cherry on a sundae of awesome fic.

Next, but no less fabulous,

not just how you looked in the light
"Did you take my brother's gay virtue?" Drama said. "Do I need to avenge this slight to his honor?"

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the title is a reference to the Fall Out Boy comment. I'm not in bandom and I blame my slowness on that.

All that aside, it's a really great story. It's roundabout and mellow but totally something I could see happening. E is just naive enough for the hijinks in this fic to occur and Vince is just manipulative enough to try.

A really delightful Hollywood story.

Last but not least:

A Little Closer to the Ground
"What's fucking up, Vince, is that your fucking manager has gone missing and you don't seem to be particularly worried, which makes you a moron and it hurts me to say that Vinnie boy, it really does. But. Where. The. Fuck. Is. E?"

I'm a big fan of stories that force Vince to cope on his own. He's riddled with codependency and he needs to grow up. This story makes him do that. And even if it weren't very well written, I would love it just for that. But it's incredibly well written from Vince's POV and as a writer in this fandom, I'm well aware that is no mean feet.

Read them. Love them. Give them lots of reviews!
