Ack, yes, that will be true, as other characters potentially will break the scripts. What are you trying to enter?

Were you entering only three fandoms? Or the full six? If you would, please tell me exactly what you were trying to enter, down to the spelling?

I keep getting an error message -- "Names must have only alphanumeric characters, sorry!". I'm very confused. I tried to create one new fandom, a book, using the format Author - Title (book) that Yuletide already uses. What am I doing wrong?

Just one new fandom, yeah. Kate Elliott - Crown of Stars series (book).

I'm having the alphanumeric characters error too, even though I'm only using letters while trying to nominate the new fandoms.

Done and done, yay!

It's a little sad that one of the fandoms I'm requesting is one I remember as being really popular when I first got into fanfic a decade ago, and now either it's all disappeared from the internet, or I only thought that a hundred or so stories was a lot when I was thirteen and it was never really big to begin with. Either way, it hurts me in my childhood a little.

all done! Many thanks!

Although I must say that not being the sharpest knife... I did not at first realise the pulldowns were for reference only. After that I was squared away.

*blink* I'm pretty sure the pulldowns were to select from? I mean, I picked five of my fandoms that way, and it gave me the correct list at the end.

Didn't work quite like that on firefox. I picked fandom and then wrote the pairing underneath. The next page only gave me what was written underneath...

And a couple of mine were write ins anyway.

You aren't to submit characters until the fandoms have been submitted; those are on a separate page. You select from the pulldown menu, *or* you write in a fandom, then you submit. For previously selected fandoms, it will generate the existing character list. For a new fandom, you can then input the characters.
