What is the New Year's Resolutions 2020 collection?
The New Year's Resolutions challenge/activity is part of Yuletide. Each year after a round of Yuletide ends, a new NYR collection is set up. This collection is for new works based on past Yuletide prompts.

Anyone can look at past Yuletide prompts and submit a work - you don't need to have participated in Yuletide before. Gifts must respect their recipients' Do-Not-Wants. However, if you're writing a NYR story because you are required to before you can sign up to Yuletide again, there are additional rules.

See also the 2019 Yuletide FAQ and the nyr stories tag on this journal.

Prompts
2019's prompts are available on AO3, in a downloadable text file, and in an app. Prompts from pinch hitters who weren't signed up can be found here (DW) and here (LJ), and are also included in the app. For older prompts, try looking at the dashboards of previous NYR collections, such as New Year's Resolutions 2019.

Someday My Fic Will Come
This is an additional mini-challenge, begun by swan_tower. If you have requested the same thing in at least 3 Yuletides, and you haven't been given it yet, record your prompt at the DW post or LJ post - or look for a long-lingering prompt that you can fulfil.
