Consolidated Recs Post
Since there doesn't seem to be a consolidated recs post up yet, I thought I'd make one! :)
In the comments, I'll link to all the recs posts made today on the recs comm (yuletide_recs), as well as the couple of posts people made here instead.
As you write your own recs posts, please feel free to link to them in the comments! You could even add notes like rating, ships, kink, etc., so people quickly browsing down the comments can see at a glance that you've got porny Phryne/Jack links, or hilarious Sims worldbuilding, or thoughtful literary character studies. Feel free to be as basic or as detailed as you like! :)
I'll try to make a roundup comment every night with any recs posts that people didn't already post to the comments, to keep us caught up.
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to improve this post (or wants to do a spreadsheet, maybe? I'm spreadsheet-illiterate), let me know! I don't want to step on anybody's toes, but it's been nearly 24 hours since the archive opened and I hadn't seen a consolidated recs post yet. Recs are my favourite part of Yuletide (they're what sucked me in enough to actually be brave enough to sign up this year!), so I'm really excited to see everyone's posts. :)
Long story short - 1) post rec lists at yuletide_recs, 2) put a link (as well as any other info you want to include) in the comments, 3) read other people's rec lists and the fic they recommend, 4) have a very merry Yuletide, 5) profit! :D
