Five minute fandoms community...
Because there was interest in a community for "five minute fandoms" (songs, music videos, poetry, artwork...) I have created one at LiveJournal with a mirror community at Dreamwidth. You may join and post at one or both.
The name is 5minutefandoms at both communities.
I wrote up a profile with some guidelines, and I will have a post of possible inspirational material in a few days. Meanwhile feel free to post your own five-minute fandom works that you have already written, or to link the ones you wrote for Yuletide!
I would really love a co-mod at both communities, so if anyone is interested let me know. (I'd also love an icon of some kind if anyone is so inspired, but maybe that's just being pushy...)
I also would really love suggestions for possible five minute fandoms. I have a couple of songs in mind but I'd love more, and I especially need suggestions for other types of "five minute fandoms." Feel free to post here or PM me, or post at the community once I have the first post up.
I'm starting this by myself because I wanted to get it off the ground but I really want input on what people want to happen! Someone suggested a prompt fest which sounds like a great idea, or an exchange later on. Not sure I could run either by myself but with help I could, or someone else could run it and use the five minute fandoms communities to promote it.
