The tag set has been reopened for vetting. As it was unclear which problems should go in the form, the form will remain closed and all problems should be noted in the comments of this post ( Read more... )

This. As I said in the previous post: If I hadn't nommed UC:SM myself and seen the changes that were made to my nom, I wouldn't have any idea characters like Miles and Ganke were even in this year, because there's no reason anyone would think to look for them under Marvel Ultimates.

It seems to go in the opposite direction of the overall effort to keep character lists smaller and more contained (Actor RPF, etc). It's not something that happened to other comic fandoms, or to other media types - Dawson's Creek and Young Americans take place in the same universe but are distinct fandoms, as are the various Star Wars novels, the various Star Trek novels, the Big Finish Audio fandoms, and so on and so forth.

It's now very difficult to offer Any, and any Yuletiders who were planning to make multiple Ultimateverse requests or offers - say, Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate Fantastic Four - no longer have the option of doing so.

Spider-Man (Ultimateverse) is an existing AO3 tag and it's been a Yuletide fandom for the last few years. I really don't see why it couldn't be left alone.
