Description: Rabi always did know how to cheer Allen up when he was down.
It was not an uncommon event, but Allen found himself unable to become used to it. Overhead, the clouds had grown gray with the threat of rain, as if mirroring his turmoil. Hooded head leaned back against the brick wall, he slowly brought his left hand up into the dim light to examine it. Its redness, its deformity was something he had long since accepted as his cursed gift. Still, he felt the need to hide it away behind white gloves-a need to hide it from the eyes of others.
“What’s with that hand?! Monster!”
“There you are, Allen!” Rabi exclaimed as he came around the corner, finally locating the other exorcist after searching for a long half an hour. His expression softened once Allen turned towards him with a smile. “I’ve been looking for you.”
“Sorry,” Allen immediately apologized with a smile, moving his hand behind his back. His actions were too obvious to Rabi’s scrutinizing gaze, however, and the older boy stepped towards him with a frown set in his face. Blinking up at the older exorcist, Allen questioned, “Rabi?”
“You really are upset about it,” Rabi muttered, reaching up gently to softly touch the side of the younger boy’s face. When Allen continued to stare blankly up at him, he sighed and drew his hand back. “No need to hide it, Allen. That woman did say some pretty hurtful things to you.”
“I don’t mind,” Allen replied, still smiling softly. His carefree tone made Rabi frown at him, but he simply ducked his head and continued to suppress his guilt with a laugh, “I’ve already gotten used to it, really.”
“You can be such an idiot sometimes,” Rabi growled in irritation, pulling the surprised Allen forward into his arms. “Whether you’re upset or sad or happy, you can always tell me. I’ll share those feelings with you no matter what.”
Overcome by the older boy’s words, Allen rest his head lightly on Rabi’s chest and smiled faintly. “Thank you.”
“I, for one, am glad you have this arm,” Rabi declared, letting his right hand dip down to clasp Allen’s left and twine their fingers together. When he felt the younger boy stiffen, he pulled back slightly to show Allen his honest smile. “Without this, I never would have met you.”
“You’re a romantic-type, aren’t you, Rabi?” Allen laughed as Rabi pushed his hood off his head.
“Your fault,” Rabi accused, pulling the smaller boy into a tighter embrace. “You always make me worry about you. Anyway, don’t feel bad anymore! To avenge you, I put a hole in that woman’s umbrella. She’s probably soaked by now.”
At that, Allen reached over to the older boy’s head lightly but managing to laugh a bit as well. “You really shouldn’t have done that, but thanks for protecting me.”
“You’re too careless!” Rabi said in a singsong voice before leaning over to catch the other boy’s lips by surprise. Once he had effectively kissed Allen into seeing stars overhead, he pulled back and grinned. “I suppose we better get back before Rinali scolds us.”
“I’m sure you’ll share that blame with me too,” Allen commented with a faint grin after recovering from his daze. He laughed as Rabi pulled him ahead by their linked hands.
“Wah, Allen-kun’s manipulative!”

A/N: jfkasld;flkds too romantically cheesey...! DX Ok. >D Uh. Well, I thought Allen's cursed arm was a pretty big deal in the series. :/ With all his transformation and such. ANYWAY. Kanda made a big deal about it, making a bad or extremely long-lasting 8D first impression on Allen. On the contrary, Rabi doesn't seem like the type to care much. 8D That, I think, would mean a great deal to our favorite little cursed exorcist. ♥ >D

Description: Itachi picks up a stray cat and decides to keep it for a pet. Oh, dear.

Itachi had never been particularly fond of animals, as most of his comrades in Akatsuki knew. Even for a cold-hearted murder, he was terribly cold-hearted. At once, even Deidara had to wince when Itachi heartlessly pierced a cute little bunny. And Deidara had already gotten used to Sasori’s animal puppets. That in mind, it was surprising to say the least when the news arised that Itachi was keeping a pet cat.
“Did you see him, Deidara-senpai?!” Tobi chirped mindlessly, clapping a hand down on the blond’s shoulder (which was promptly shoved off with a hiss). “Itachi-senpai’s pet cat!”
“He’s a pretty cute black cat,” Kisame commented thoughtfully. “Really bad tempered though. He starts screeching every time Itachi goes near him.”
“Why the hell would he want to keep an animal like that anyway, un?” Deidara scoffed, side-stepping to put some distance between himself and Tobi. Unfortunately for him, Tobi missed the hint and slid over again cheerfully, making the blond screech.
“It’s kind of like that,” Kisame noted, grinning toothily at the two of them. “Your relationship and the one Itachi-san has with his cat.”
“We have no relationship!” Deidara snarled, circling around Kisame to separate himself from the younger Akatsuki member.
Kisame simply smirked.
At that time, Itachi bounded over to them coolly and stated, “Kisame, we have a mission to do.” He paused before turning to Deidara. “Keep an eye on my cat will you?”
Before Deidara could even think to respond, a loud, angry shout exploded from a few feet away.
“STOP CALLING ME YOUR CAT, YOU BASTARD!”
“Did you tie him up again, Itachi-san?” Kisame sighed. “Sasuke-kun doesn’t like that you know.”
“You’re a bad pet owner,” Deidara sneered.
Itachi shrugged.
“Can I feed your pet cat, Itachi-senpai?” Tobi chirped in question cheerfully.
“I AM NOT A PET CAT!”
“Your pet’s being noisy again, Itachi-san,” Kisame commented.
“He’s very needy.”
“YOU’RE AN ASSHOLE!”
“…whiny too.”
