I fail at life! :DD
Fandom: D.Gray-man
Title: Luck-Induced Fate?
Characters: Kanda x Allen (barely D:), Rabi
Rating: G
Word Count: 637
Description: Dorkiness and stupidity! Rabi notices Kanda encounters some bad luck.
Either Kanda had been hit by a terrible wave of bad luck or something was drastically wrong. At first, it was rather funny to see the usually cool, stony faced Kanda flustered over tripping over things (that seemed to appear out of nowhere, really) and splashed by water as it was dumped out the window. Or the time someone closed the door on his ponytail was rather hysterical as well. Rabi had had his share of laughs over the matter until Kanda focused every nerve in his being in a death glare deadly enough to stop an akuma in its tracks.
“Something’s bothering you, isn’t there, Yuu?” Rabi finally asked, leaning forward on the table they sat at as they waited for Allen to return.
“It’s all his fault! That damn bean sprout!” the longhaired boy finally snapped, swinging his arm out to point in the general direction Allen had went.
Rabi raised an eyebrow in amusement.
Sputtering with as much dignity he could manage, Kanda snapped, “Last week, you said…!”
Although he needed a moment to think about it, Rabi slowly recalled the memory and let a wicked smile cross his face. “Oh, that?”
Kanda, by now, had turned his murderous aura on full-blast.
It had been a casual conversation, last week. Allen had found a stray kitten outside and had disappeared to feed it table scraps, leaving the two older exorcists alone. While Kanda apparently made it a point to grumble incoherently under his breath about annoyingly soft chibi Allen was, Rabi twirled a fork around his fingers and wondered vaguely how to shut his friend up. Cheerfully, he commented, “Aww, Yuu-chan! You’re just jealous of that kitten, aren’t you? You have a crush on Allen after all.”
If Kanda was not frozen in absolute shock and denial, Rabi may have lost his head to the boy’s mugen right then and there.
Back to the present, Rabi leaned a bit further towards his friend and let his smile curve into a smirk. “I was joking, but if you’re taking it that seriously…”
Before Kanda could get another word in, Allen returned and plopped down with a sigh next to him. Kanda noticeably stiffened, shooting Rabi a dark glare when his smirk widened. In the action of stiffening, however, Kanda had bolted straight up, causing a collision between his head and a waitress’ tray, efficiently knocking a plate of noodles straight up and back down onto his head. Bad luck indeed.
Despite how Kanda glowered, Allen had to clap a hand over his mouth to keep himself from laughing aloud. In retaliation, Kanda pointedly removed some noodles from his own head and plopped it down on Allen’s, making the younger boy blink wildly in surprise before pouting slightly. The waitress stared in horrification as more noodles were exchanged from head to head.
Enjoying the show, Rabi propped his head up with his arm and watched in amusement. It seemed that rather than bad luck, Kanda was just an idiot in general around Allen after last week’s teasing. It was a refreshing change from the usual frown he always wore. Chuckling, he commented loudly, “Yuu’s just like a big puppy.”
That grabbed the two’s attention.
Still grinning a bit evilly, Rabi asked, “You like him, don’t you, Allen?”
“Of course,” the young exorcist replied without missing a beat, somehow not noticing the way Kanda had twitched. Noodles hanging sloppily over his head, he grinned and replied, “I love all cute little animals, even if they are bad-tempered.”
Rabi snickered and noodles neatly came flying at his face, courtesy of the supremely annoyed Kanda. It had to be fate two such characters met each other-Kanda and Allen. Laughing, he commented while pinching noodles from his head, “I love spending time with idiots.”
Kanda glared. “You’re the idiot.”

A/N: Ahaha, I attempted DGM~ and it sucks, yay! XD Then again, I barely know anything about the series. :/ Saw the two episodes out and have 94 manga chapters downloaded (uhm, but not read 8D) and I still find this series addicting. *idiot* Allen's such a cutie. ♥ And, hmm, when I first saw Kanda, I'm not sure why, but I immediately associated him with some kind of fluffy animal. XD Yeah, I'm pretty stupid. >D Lol.
Anyway. >_>; *skitters off to watch more Bleach*
