Team Cincinnati! This weekend? And new blog
First off, everybody, I've started blogging at Screen of Distance, http://sanfordspeaks.blogspot.com/ which currently has only my favorite concerts of last year. Comments are welcome as always. When work calms down a little, I'll figure out a way if there's one to automatically copy over here and to Myspace. In the meantime, look here for things like this.
Team Cincy! A. and I are coming down for the Scott Miller/Sarah Borges show on Friday night at the Southgate House and staying through Saturday night, we got a cheap room (oddly not a lot of people flocking to Covington in mid January), so we don't need crash space, but we'd like to see folks and I know I owe at least S. a drink for her belated birthday and M. one for passing her driving test (and a drink or three to each for getting them crazy-lost last time).
What do people feel about maybe linking up at the Comet after they open, 4:30ish, Saturday early evening? That way if folks have stuff for later they can still make it, folks who don't drink (that means don't be a stranger, Mr. Popp!) can get a burrito, and we're well ahead of the blaring indie rock. I'm open to other suggestions, but Anne's already up in arms about our not hitting the Comet last time after I introduced her to it on a previous trip.
