Note to self.
So it has been another what, month since the last post? Somehow I have gone from posting literally every day to forgetting to do anything with LJ after checking my flist. By the way, the 31_days themes this month are very nice.
So! Events of note:
1. I took khursten, kye_kestrel and izkariote to the newly opened Hotel H2O for the ADB yearly summer outing. They basically funded half the cost of the rooms and the aquarium viewing, which was A++.
The hotel is this one-floor (yes, one floor) stretch right on top of the Manila Bay. Terrible view outside, but we got the room with the wall-sized aquarium in it.
There is a surprising lot of fish.

This is my favorite fish.
It actually looks like this.
These things are seriously creepy. So many patterns on one fish! And they didn't move because they were nocturnal.

There was a jellyfish museum separate from the rest. It's nice.
They had a Makansutra, but I will leave Khursten to post about that. Great food, though???

2. Met flintlock! He's a nice dude who attracts all sorts of suspicious people, I am telling you. We ate yakiniku and gigantic crab legs and soap bars.
3. I also helped usher for Khursten's work the past weekend, API 10th anniversary and stuff. Tiring! Although not as tiring as her staff duties for it. We got to stay in the hotel for some nights! I enjoyed talking to the foreigners, especially the Indonesians and the Japanese. A+, would do it again.
4. We also had an event at work, kick off of the new-ish project. I realize that I only feel useful at work when we're doing events. Most of the time, they are doing audit things that are not in my skillset at all, and I am doing mostly secretarial work.
5. Enrollment tomorrow for school. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....
6. And we have a new maid. Again.
7. Feels like April.
