The land of Autopia is in danger -- a mad wizard, Roderick Twilight of the Sullen, has unleashed terrible chaos on the kingdom (plagues, demons, droughts and wars), and the Royal Family of Summorn can do nothing about it. The eldest and most capable prince of Summorn, Elsith, slays the mad wizard, but this does nothing to lessen the destruction of their land. Worse still, the prince becomes victim to the mad wizard’s last curse, and nothing has been heard of him since.
Finally, the apprentice of the now-deceased wizard steps forward and demands an audience with the King. His name is Cairre Stormbringer, and he promises to deliver salvation to the kingdom at a strange price: the possession of the magical horse in the Summorn Castle. The King agrees and hands over the beast, and this… this is where it gets tricky.
Cairre sends the youngest Summorn prince, Kalien, to the Dimensional Witch Yuuko’s shop. That is the best that he can do and this is where everything begins.
