Outing number 1.
Am home ~ Team outing hosted by our French ADB boss turned into an impromptu sleepover at his rest house in Batangas, which was nice because then we got to be retards until about four in the morning and his house, akjsdhkashdk, it's so epic awesome. It was rainy and generally windy, which is nice because the windy part is what I like about that place anyway. Less the wet, though.
So there was sort of hanging around on the beach without swimming (waves, they were large), frisbee, touch American football, joking around, horsing around, playing board games, playing card games, and a shitload of drinking. Gin -- doesn't seem to affect me much, or perhaps our shot glass was truly just too small (to the point of pathetic. Someone forgot to bring it!). I like the ADB bosses, I dunno why people in ADB think they're hard to approach when all we did all night was trash talk each other and beat each other at cards. The Texan dude is fun. He has loads and loads of stories to tell, and he's great to talk to.
Course, there was a bit of office drama, but it's inevitable. All I have to say is, some people take some things too seriously. B| The one for next week will be fun, too, but not as fun as this. 300 people from the same company in one resort? Do not want.
Brought home smoked Salinas (tinapa), a quarter of a jackfruit, buko pie (coconut pie), and a few desserts. Spent a long time doing chores when I got back, but that's okey. Aaaaaaaand, I've been running on very little sleep since Tuesday. The weekend, I slept a total of six hours. GO ME.
