The other day (or was it yesterday? I don't remember),
synatri denied the existence of one of my favorite Filipino desserts. B| We were talking about bibingka and she was referring to this:
when the other bibingka I know is the sticky rice one, with the brown thing on top. SHE CALLED IT BIKO. *indignant* My beloved bibingka is not biko! Now, I knew that that fluffy bread thing IS bibingka -- there's a whole store dedicated to it, called Bibingkinitan, so I know it is bibingka, but my bibingka is also bibingka! BIBINGKA = DENIED! D:
So I told her I'd take a picture next time I see one. On the way home, I saw a TON. I couldn't resist, I bought a pack. B|
Okey, so they're not flattering pictures. I need a camera, and call it like... Shinja or something. Tever.
BEHOLD!
I ate all of it now.
I have so much love for sticky dessert stuff. I have sapin-sapin in the fridge, waiting for me. ' 3' The buchi is not nice, so I am getting everyone else to eat it.
