I didn't realize today was Valentines Day. o.O Although I knew Valentines Day was on the 14th, and that today was the 14th, I completely forgot about it. Happy Valentines Day ~
Anyway, trooped over to the old high school to talk to my brother's high school professor. That didn't really yield much in terms of result, but I did manage to confirm that his flunked grade won't be on his permanent record. I'm too lazy to explain why, just that he's still hanging on by a thread.
Two of my old teachers, both Ms. Janets, saw me as I was walking and greeted me. One of them had been my teacher in first year high school, and the other was my teacher in second year, for biology. The first year one told me, "You know, Rachel, I remember you for one thing. You told me back then 'Ma'am, you're too nice, that's why you don't notice when the kids are shitting you.'" in Filipino, of course. It's kinda nice to be remembered for small things like that, even if I was... what, twelve when she was last my teacher? I'm like... twenty now. Saw Sir Dixie, too. Dorky, as always~ ♥
Come to think of it, high school hadn't been bad. Elementary had been hell, there's just no redeeming it, but my high school was decent. Nothing I particularly miss or remember much, but it hadn't been miserable.
