Chap 4- Behind the smile.... Is a devil!
"Welcome to Horikoshi Gakuen school festival! Please enjoy your time here!"
Finally, it was the day for the two boys to play the game. Yamada is already at the entrance waiting for the little boy, hoping he will come. "Hm... Will he come? Or maybe he hates me so much that he's just lying?"
"Gomenasai!!" Suddnly, a running figure zoomed into the older boys eyes. Immediately he smiled. "Sorry I'm late!" the chibi panted as Ryosuke just acted cool and hide his blush. "Dont think that I'm coming for you! I'm here for the price!"
Yamada felt dissapointed again, but he knows that it takes time to gain the little boys trust. "Come on. The game is starting already..." Chinen just nodded, he was about to walk when he trips on something.
"Whao!!"
"Watch out!" The strawberry prince immediatly caught the chibi and saw that the little boys shoe laces arnt fixed. "Stand still." Ryosuke knelt on the floor and helpped the squirrel tied it up while the chibi blushed cause everyone is looking at this scene. But the boy kneeling don't seem to notice.
"Done." Ryosuke held out his hand as his face turned aside. "Hold my hand in case you fall again." Chinen nodded as a pink blush is creeping up his face again. He spotted the olders boys ears, they are kind of red. The chibi shook the thought out of his mind and place his hand in the big palm. It feels so warm, so big, so firm. The two boys didn't say anything anymore as they went into the hall to the game.
"Welcome to our brains and knowledge game~~~ In this one hour, you'll be facing 3 rounds! First round is to answer some questions to test your knowledge, second round is to test your brains and partnership! Last round is testing your guts! The winning pair doesn't need to pay for anymore school fees in the rest of their school life! Second price is two concert tickets to Arashi's concert! Third price is to eat in a buffet! Let the game begin!!" The MC is so energetic that everyone is in their highest mood.
"Yosh!! Let's knock them all dead Yama chan!" Chinen threw his fist up the air as his eyes roared with a bright flame. "I have to get the first price!"
"Yama chan?" Yamada scratched his head with his sudden new nickname. "Oh well, don't you dare make us lose!"
"Do you even know who you are talking to?" Chinen raised his eyebrow as he placed his hands on his hips. "You're talking to the smartest boy in the school. I should be the one saying that." The younger boy laughed as Ryosuke pouted and puff his cheeks up. "By the way, I'm also good at talking back." The older boy just puffed up his cheeks more as he folds his arm around his chest. That boy is sure too full of himself!
"Now let the game begin!! This round, we'll be asking you questions. Please get as much as you can right! We'll be asking 10 questions in total! Question one! What is the worlds biggest company?"
Bing pong!
"Team YamaChii please give out your answer!" Yamada turned and looked at the squirrel in shock, within one second that boy can figure out the answer?!
"Apple. inc!"
"Correct!!! YamaChii gets one point!" The crowd is cheering and the whole hall is so noisy! Chinen sees Yamada staring at him wide eyed, he just smirked.
"Question two! What Song is this?"
"Lov---"
Bing pong!
"YamaChii team~"
"Arashi-Love So Sweet!!"
"Correct!!"
"What on earth?! They haven't even sang one word yet?!" Yamada is now more shocked. "Im a Arashi fan." Chinen just simpily returns. 'This boy is seriously...'
"Question 3! What is the price of the most expensive strawberry?"
Bing pong! This time it was Chinens turn to look at the older boy. 'He knows?!'
"£1,200,000!"
"Correct! Looks like team YamaChii is paired up with two genius! Other teams please work hard also!"
Chinen was about to ask when Yamada butted in. "I have a nick name called ichigi freak. I know EVERYTHING about strawberries." And that, shut Chinen up. The whole round one is won by the two boys. They got 9 points in total.
"Ma ma, you're not so bad~" Chinen praised as they got off the stage and headed to the next round. "So-so. Not as good as Mr. Chibi genius though~" The ichigo prince winked at the little boy, causing Chinen to blush like a tomato.
"Round two~ this time you'll be in a maze and you'll have to complete the tasks written on the paper to get out and win round two~ only two groups are allowed to go to the finals! Good luck!"
Now Yamada and Chinen are stuck in a room, the mission this time is to get out of the room.
"Get out of the room... That sounds easy." Yamada headed to the door and tried the handle. Locked. "Keh.. So it's not that easy eh?"
"Baka! It's not gonna be THAT easy. There's nothing here but a closit and a handed.... Hm... I know!" Chinen snapped his fingers as he remembered something from his old love. He took the hanger and straightened it except of the hook. Then scratched something from behind the closit. He found a small piece of something. Then saw a sculpture of "Statue of liberty" He ploped the small fire in the statues hand and the door flew open.
"Ah ha! As I thought~ Come on~" Chinen walked out of the room and followed by shocked Yamada. They are leaded up to a small corridoor as they found the second envolope.
"Second mission: Walk through the corridoor. But be careful."
"What? This is so easy!" Yamada started walking but suddenly a big boxing glove came out from the wall and whacked him. Then the whole corridoor infront of the two boys started to fill with punching boxing gloves.
"Ah~ this is easy then." Yamada grabbed the shivering squirrel and took out his skate board. "Hold on tight!" Chinen just hugged the older boy and shut his eyes because they are now going in full speed with the skate board, dodging and moving on top. Chinen screaming like mad. "Chill Chibi. Just hold on tight." Yamada wrapped his arm the squirrels tiny waist and continued the "dodging boxing gloves" journey. Soon, the boys stopped as they reach to a door. Chinen is still holding on the older boy while shaking.
"Y-you... Are com-pletely...mad!" Yamada didn't mind but still held on the squirrel. He let out a small chuckle. "But thanks to me, we've got through 2nd mission."
Yamada half carried half drag the squirrel and opened to the door. A black shadow zoomed pass and took Chinen away from Yamadas embrace. "OI!"
"Round 3! In this round, you'll be Saving your partner! Please go to the door on your left and save your partner~ Good luck~~" Yamada opened the door and saw two cliffs with a hanging broken bridge. He looked down and immediatly felt dizzy. Then he looked across and saw the chibi tied up.
"Dont look down! Just walk over here!"
Yamada held onto both sides on the rope and closed his eyes, he is trembling while he walked. It was stil fine until he crosses the middle.
"In order to make the task harder," The MC begin. "The bridge will now move! Good luck!" the bridge start to shook and the older boy couldn't stand it anymore. He fell off the bridge and landed on the soft custion below him.
"Zannen! YamaChii team gets the second place! And gets the two tickets for arashi concert~ Omedetou~" Chinen sighed. Luck is never on his side ne? Or the older boy is just trying to give him hope? And crush him.
'He's such a fucking jerk!!!'
