between movies, books and preparations for university

"Happy Easter" - or something. My holidays are drawing to an end, and the List Of Things Still Left To Do is getting longer and longer by the minute. But I'm proud to say I read the whole book "The Castle of Otranto" for one of my literary studies-courses yesterday. That story is just weird. Anyhow. I want to get on reading LotR (fellowship), but university keeps getting in the way by assigning to read weird books. Just my luck.

The movies I saw on DVD or in the theater during the last week  were: Happy Feet - sweet, lovely, Lij-voice and oh, do i perceive an environmental message floating 'round? Troy - Orlando gets his girl and war ensues... huh? and Sean Bean looks good in that one, too. Norbit - I admit it, i do love it when Eddie Murphy plays many different hilarious roles in one film. Music and Lyrics - awwwwwwwww! Hugh Grant, dancing, singing and dancing again. I had to buy the soundtrack  immediately. Legally Blond - Reese Witherspoon does look great in that funny little chick-flick. Resident Evil - wonderful soundtrack, but the zombies kinda reminded me of 28 days later and they weren't really scary there. besides, the CG-monster just didn't look real at all.
Oh yeah, before I forget,  Julchen was over for a dvd-get-together on wednesday.  We watched Die Hard because of Alan Rickman's voice. The Good Son because Macaulay Culkin and Elijah Wood were sooooo cute kids and Try Seventeen because she said she wanted to conclude this dvd-session with something "light". oh, well.

My newest dvd-possession is Black and White. NC-17??? huh. bad, bad language and some naked skin here and there, whatever. That movie is actually quite cool, I think i have to watch it with Angel sometime (since she likes  hip Hop so much!)..........

tomorrow i'll go to my beloved university and enroll myself in some new courses or another. we'll see.
