MBLAQ Fic: Kiss of the Rose Princess Ch2
Yui took a sharp turn and rushed towards their meeting place only to bump into something squishy. The black haired girl grabbed the ‘thing’ from her face and threw it away before looking around, breathing in relief after she found that it was empty.
“Ah… good thing she has not reached yet…Ami will nag at me if she gets here first. Guh, I’m so tired… I need to go to school earlier so I won’t bump into the sunbaes of Discipline committee… and what the hell was that squishy thing!”
“Me not squishy thing… me Ninufa”
A small creature with head similar to a cat stuff toy and a body of a white tiger and the end of its tail has a little star appeared before Yui making the latter fall on the grass.
“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Yaaa! Don’t scare me like that! Huh? Wah… a neko toy!”
“...”
Yui stood and dusted herself before facing the floating creature that seemed to be smiling at her although she can‘t be too sure…
“Look here you squishy thing… even if you are squishy and cute, you still do not have any right to clamp on my face then surprise me all of a sudden. What if my…oh no…”
A shaking hand slowly crept unto neck; Yui’s choker seemed to have disappeared… “My choker!!! Oh no…”
Yui glared hard at the creature who was already shaking in fear, “where.did.you.hide.my.choker.?”
“!!!”
“Comeback here you choker snatcher! I’m going to smash you to bits!”
Yui ran as fast as she can until she reached the abandoned schoolhouse, “tch.. I’ll get in bigger trouble if I don’t get out of here… now where’s that thing…”
“I’ve finally found you…
Yui gulped at the sight of a shadow black dragon with bulgy eyes staring straight to her black ones…”You’ve got to be kidding me…
“…”
“No!!!!!”
“…”
The creature advanced forward while a terrified Yui seemed to be rootedon the spot…
“Who…”
Yui turned around and was shocked to see a familiar person on the floor. He was heavily injured and he seemed to be running out of breath…
“Heo Seonsangnim! What are you doing here?”
“Park… Yui of Class D… tell me… can you see the dragon over there?”
“See it? Of course I can! And by the looks of it, it seems to have beaten the snot of you…”
“Wait… that card….”
Yui stared at the professor like he had grown another head, “what ca-… huh?”
The girl took the card sticking out of her pocket and eyed it confusedly, “what’s this?”
The history professor grinned turning his eyes into small crescents, “I see…. Well then… can I ask you to kiss…?”
Yui blushed beet red and flailed her arms, “S-s-seonsangnim… this isn’t the time to think about things like that!”
“N-no… not me…that.”
Yui took another look at the card, “this?”
The history teacher had a fond look on his face as he answered, “That is something very valuable that will always keep you safe from harm…”
“Like… a charm?”
*chuckle* “yes… like a charm of some sort.”
Yui let out a deep breath, “nothing wrong with it I suppose… seonsaengnim’s safety comes first.”
And so the intricately designed card was kissed…
A swirl of red petals erupted from the card and with it came a shadow, “is that… a person?”
“As ordained by the ancient contract, I present myself to you, your rose knight…”
“Tch…suddenly showing up now… sheesh…”
“My lady, the name is Joon… I am yours to command.”
“I expected a lot and its just Changsun???”
Changsun looked up and tsk-ed when he came face to face with his classmate, “Yui?? Oh crap, why on earth did she have to be you…?”
“S-shut up! Why did you come out of the card? And why are you calling yourself a knight?!”
A sudden beam of light landed just right beside the three and Yui shouted, “Muscle babo! Since you dirtied the place with these rose petals just to have a flashy entrance… do something about that thing!”
Changsun stuck out a tongue at the girl and snorted, “as if I’ll take your orders…”
“CHANGSUN… JOON… WHATEVER YOU CALL YOURSELF! DO SOMETHING!!!!”
As soon as Yui shouted, a thorny vine wrapped itself around Changsun… making it hard for him to move… “Aish! All right! But you absolutely cannot laugh, understood?”
Yui was able to provide a weak nod and Changsun smirked, “let’s finish this…Heed me rose, o my Rosario! As we have been ordered! REND ASUNDER!”
From the knight’s hand, he pulled out a sword and hit the large dragon. After the hit, a loud poof was heard making the dragon disappear and the squishy creature reappeared…
“CHOKER SNATCHER!!!”
Professor Heo Yeongsaeng hugged the plush looking creature smiling apologetically at the two, “I apologize… I was here eating my lunch when this guy barged in looking like he had gotten crazy. In its haste, it got tangled with the prickly ash tree and then he just evolved into that big dragon you saw a while ago…thank God the books are safe… ”
“What is going on?”
The history professor smiled and he answered, “I just realized what happened a while ago… let me introduce this little one, his name is Ninufa… guardian of the cards ever since the first formation of the contracts a long time ago…a contract between the rose princess and her knights.”
“What part of this jerk is a knight??? He’s just Changsun!”
Changsun glared at Yui and shouted with equal intensity, “Yeah? Well how about you? You seemed to be liking the Dominion role a while ago…”
“I DON’T WANT A KNIGHT LIKE HIM! I DON’T!!!”
“As if I want you anyway…”
Ninufa floated closer to Yui, making the rose princess walk backwards, “if you don’t want him… how about somebody else then?”
The plush looking creature spat out four other cards, “w-what are those…”
Professor Yeongsaeng picked up the four other cards and smiled, “here you are… these are all of them. If you wish, you can try kissing a different knight to try it out?”
Yui blushed tomato red this time, “Y-you mean the card right? Kiss the card?”
“kekeke… if you don’t believe us then kiss them all and see…”
Ninufa bumped himself in a way that Yui kissed all four cards at one time… the four cards floated…
White petals… Blue… Black… Pink…
“The seal has been broken. I have eagerly awaited your arrival, my Dominion. My lady, what are your orders…”
“I will obey your every command…”
“I don’t like her…”
“I’ll do whatever you want.”
Yui turned to look at the history professor who had a gentle smile on his face… “The cards of the contracts have been waiting for you all this time…”
“Is this… what appa meant by punishment?”
