Work Christmas Party
My work Christmas party was last night at Main Event. It was so much fun. We got there a little bit late and everyone had started eating already but they were still serving. After that we did the White Elephant gift exchange and I ended up with the DVD Kung Pow and some Jiffy Pop popcorn ^ ^. I've wanted to see that movie since it was in theaters and never had an opportunity. Shawn wanted the gift I brought and ended up with it, it's a football shaped slow cooker (crock pot). And Travis got a horrendous King Kong mask and handcuff chains that came with it. My mom had to draw second and opened a box of toiletries which sadly for her nobody opted to steal. And my Dad stole some really neat champagne glasses that match the other types of glasses we have at home. We bowled after the gift exchange and I did really really badly. It was fun though. Shawn slaughtered us all. Next up from that was laser tag. That was awesome because almost all of my coworkers played and we had teams, red vs green (it's usually blue but they changed it for the holidays T T) Travis was like, will you call us the Blue team. It was funny. I was on red team so I could go against my brothers and also my boss and Dr. Bog and Wilson. Hee hee. At first I tried the strategy of finding vantage points to squat and shoot from. Then I went to the second level and found the Green teams 50 pt base and shot the hell out of it. After that I started just straight walking up to people because it takes them by surprise to have someone just walkout shooting. Playing that way I got to their 100 pt base and got in a few hits. After the game there was only one person who tagged me more than I tagged them, however.. it was my boss. Curse her. She was the #1 player over all actually. Laser tag is exhilarating. Later I convinced Kristi to play vs DDR with me. That was interesting and I even convinced my mom to play it after her. Had there not been free alcohol they may not have happened though. Played a few other games and saw their XD theater thing which is just like the Edge was at Lakeline mall. After we saw one of the shows we brought my dad back to see another one and then my mom saw the third one later on. Her and I played the coin games where you drop a coin in and try to make it push others off and get points for what falls. I got a small dragon stuffed animal for their prizes which matches the one I have from Dave and Busters. Then my dad and I played darts which was a lot of fun. It came down to the bulls-eye and I beat him. We were playing cricket. I played a couple games with Travis later on too and those both also came down to getting a bulls-eye but he beat me both times. Anyway it was a lot of fun, much better than last years party which was dinner and a gift exchange at Texas Land and Cattle. This year they chose fun over fine. And we all enjoyed it more. I'm off to go fishing, in Animal Crossing Wild World that is. I'm halfway to paying off my first upgrade so I can expand again. And, it's snowing! Then I'm going to get some new curtains off in the real world because my stringy ones are getting destroyed from being pushed against my bed and the wall. I'm going to hang them over the closet door instead I think. Aw, Riley's in here now. Later all!!
