You know, I usually try to have some faith in humanity. I mean, you come to Canada looking for hope, looking to shake the shackles of oppression and abuse that you find in other countries, and that as a whole we are somewhat a better alternative.
And then you get cases like this, where a group of filthy, disgusting excuses for humanity rape and abuse those laws and privileges in order to bring the very same laws they left behind in order to sully and pervert our own.
There is no excuse for this crime. These three people should have the full extent of the law thrown at them. There was no "honour" in this vicious, pointless, vile, and filthy murder.
Why won't people like this just stay home, where this is acceptable? Why do they feel the need to bring this filth here? Why can't they accept that Canada does not allow this kind of thing, that here we are free-thinking (or at least, more free-thinking than some)?
I'm for welcoming immigrants; in fact, immigrants are so wonderful and amazing, and make this country beautiful. But people like this should, simply put, never cross the border.
But, sadly, there is no way to figure out that such people will act this way until it happens. You can't ask a person, "Do you have any intentions of murdering your daughter/wife/niece in the name of [your perverted idea of] honour?"
It also makes me sick that these people are publicly mourning the loss of these women, when they were the ones who put them there to begin with.
