Fun, frolic & food...
So yesterday me and my best friend Ushni a.k.a Ass hung out after like 3 weeks! Longest time ever not having seen each other [ok not counting the 2 yr tiff we had in mid school--lol that's how long we trace back!].
Well her CAT exams finished.Though she cribbed about how shitty her exam went ..well given the smart 'ass' she is I'm sure she'll pass.
Met up near my house metro [made me walk all the way from home to welcome her highness!--*rolls eyes*--well it is a 5 min walk ...but I'm laaazy]
So on our way home asked her which sounded better-- a plate pf Sikkimese momo's or some crepes I'd make at home. It was more of a statement than a question-- she being my experimental food guinea pig (not that she's complaining) -- I knew she'd go wid the crepes idea.
Well while Ass is real good at Indian cooking(which ironically I'm not) , I do the continentals.
I'd never seen her soo excited. Lol...she was like a little kid in a candy store....she reminded me every min that though i was cooking it..without her pouring the crepe batter in perfect measurement nothing could be accomplished....yeah yeah...
So we finished the chicken mushroom corn crepes...and dug into it like pigs keeping some for my bro (another little pig!)...To end it I offered Ass the extra crepe we had wid choco spread inside--- while she threatened to strangle me if they would ruin her earlier taste of the chkn crepes..I just shoved I piece in her mouth...man the expression was classic!
She made such puppy dog eyes that I asked her if she'd like the whole piece...she like grinned ear to ear to that.
My brother too gobbled it up...ah my 2nd guinea pig!
Next Ass told me -- "listen lets celebrate Nive's (our other best friend) birthday at your place..we'll cook crepes instead of going all the way to a diner's" lol..
Well in the Ass said "While all other people have boyfriends...we're stuck making crepes"...We paused and thought together and just said.."...The chocolate crepes are truly worth it".
It also made me realize that it's the time we spend together ..me, Ass & Nive that it makes it much more meaningful than us going around.
Ass was so into the crepes that first thing in the morn she goes shopping for making more crepes at her home...she's a little piggy! oink oink!
Next looking forward to celebrating Nive's 21st b'day on Sunday and a sleepover at my place that night...Ass even said she'd get some Armenian wine from her place...oooo...fun!
