Mura sighed softly as she finished up with a costumer. She neatly cleaned up the cards and waited for the next one to come. Thanks to summer and the fact school was out; Mura spent most of her time at work. The same was true to who came to seek her advice ( Read more... )

Mura pocked the 10 and leaned back in the chair. After a few moments past a woman who looked in her 40s walked out from the back. Silky black hair and insightful brown eyes the woman held a natural beauty about her. "Thank you Kairi for the lovly wine. I will look forward for our next visit in a few weeks ( ... )

Amanda walked in and looked around, eyes slightly wide and a grin spreading slowly on her face. "Wow....so this is what a Japanese psychic place looks like...." she muttered in an odd mix of Japanese and English.

Mura just glanced at Amanda for a moment. She was the one 'stalking' Sawada. For a while durring school Mura noticed how the two interacted with each other, and made her question Leo even more. The boy had something off about him, something that lurked behind him like a dark shadow. Mura wanted to know what that shadow was... or who it was.

She tried to get it out of Kazuya but that went up in smoke, and so she lost interest in the boy. Mura would ignore the shadow and go on with her life... the need to know still lurked in her mind however..

"...what do you want?" She went to grab her magazine.

Amanda looked at Mura for a moment, almost like a deer caught in the headlights. She then smiled at her, the innocent way she usually showed in public, though something about the other girl made her more wary than she usually would be. "My fortune read, obviously."

"..." Mura paused and gave Amanda a look up and down. " I won't do it." She spoke in a monotone voice, Mura couldn't place it but it was the same vibe she got off the Sawada kid. The need to know but at the same time scared to ask. The truth can be a horrible thing.

Amanda blinked at her for a moment, a bit dumbfounded. ".....but, I'm a paying customer....why won't you tell me my fortune?"

"you can't make me read whose fortune to read and not to read. Go to a temple and try your luck there." She settled down to start reading the magazine.

"Hmmmm.....but I don't want to go to a temple....those places are weird. You should at least tell me why you won't read my fortune." Amanda said, eyes narrowing slightly, despite her best effort to keep from letting Mura see any of her actual personality.

"... your like someone I know...Sawada Leo." Her eyes peered over the top of the magazine. " there is bad air around you... I refuse to read but if you still insist You need to pay triple and bring me these items as payment."

Mura wrote down a list of items, this was going to be a tricky reading... she could feel it in her bones. However, if the blond wanted a sappy love reading, good for her then... if not....

Amanda almost laughed, and the amusement was obvious on her face. "Sawada Leo? We're nothing alike. I don't mind paying extra." She watched her write, wondering what she could possibly want besides her paying three times the price, not that money was really a problem for her.

The list was simple, a bottle of expensive whine, strawberry truffles, and a sweet roll. Mura waited to see if she would accpect the extra fee.

Amanda looked at the list and did a quick mental tally in her head. She then shrugged and pulled out a phone. She looked at Mura for a moment before dialing a number and talking quickly in Italian, telling someone to bring her the items on the list and where to drop it off. As she hung up, she looked at Mura with a smile. "Those items will be here in no more than ten minutes."

"Sit down, and ask your question then" While her heart told her not to read, her mind was yelling at her to. Get closer to the truth, closer... closer... even if the dangers are numberous she wanted to know. Maybe she might find a way to cheat death, and that what truely mattered to Yukimura anyways.

Amanda sat down and thought for a moment before looking at Mura carefully. She figured the girl already knew about the gang war, and though she really wasn't interested in it, she did want to know what Mura would say. She thought for a moment, seeming to want to word her question just right. 'hmmm....if I ask about 'love' I'm sure she'd try to strangle me. It must get old to be asked about that all the time....though I'd enjoy watching her expression for that question....'

"My question is fairly simple, I just want to know what is going to happen with the gang war between the twins gang and that other gang...Lucifer something or other....Are the twins going to win, or are they going to fall? And how many injuries will be serious."

"That is far from simple..." Mura simply shuffled her deck and thought about it. Like with Chii, she set up the cards in a pattern known only to her. After it was set up Mura turned the cards over in an order and glanced at each one. Once the each card was flipped and read Mura sat there frozen.

"It seems.... the spirits are refusing to answer such a question for the likes of you. It is something they can not or will not answer. Time will tell and fate is fickle... she moves at her own will changing with the will and the hearts of others. So your question is unanswerable."

Amanda thought for a moment, then made a face. "So only time will tell and there's too many paths to choose from for fate to know what the outcome will be? hmmmmmm.....should be interesting to see the little toddlers run around with knives."

Amanda blinked a few times and made a face. "....did I say that outloud?"
