Stupid Mis-Clicks

I hate it when I'm going to switch tabs, and I accidentally click on something in my bookmarks toolbar. I really should move that.

Anyway, I'm still thinking about what movie I need to do for my film analysis. I. am. HORRIBLE. At critiquing films and whatnot. We watched "In The Mood For Love" and the professor talked about the director's "landmark" film-making style...or was it his "distinctive" film-making style? I forget. All that I remember, is that he intentionally made scenes dark and out-of-focus.

I get the not showing the faces of certain people thing...kinda.

But really...it was way too slow-paced and they always. ALWAYS. Played the same freaking song do a slow-motion scene. It felt like the movie dragged on forever.

Yeah it won all these prestigious awards and whatnot, but it was a huge pain in the ass to watch. xD

The movies since then have been better...but still. I know nothing of observing a film's style. I can only see the blatantly obvious when it comes to movies.

Whatever. x.x;;

I was thinking of going with Casshern/Goemon. Or maybe both and focusing on how the two movies were similar in style. The director of both movies was apparently married to Utada Hikaru for 5 years, and directed some of her music videos.

...and of the ones that I've watched, they're really weird music videos... But they definitely have that Casshern/Goemon look to them.

(And also, Casshern kind of made me tweak because I kept hearing familiar music playing throughout the movie. It took me a while to recognize the music, but whatever was used in the movie was also used in BLEACH.)

So I could do those movies...but then I also was thinking of doing "The Promise"...but my copy of that movie got a little dirty... I don't understand how either. I opened the case, and it looked fine. When I took the disc out, there was like, DIRT underneath it. Maybe termite droppings? I don't know. Whatever it was, I cleaned it up. I wiped the disc, but it got a little scratched so...I have to try and see if it'll still play. But the question is do I want to take a chance and try to insert it into my laptop?

Not really. xD

So I'll use Jirou's PS2. ;o
