Note: I have never written these two before >.< I hope its ok... Unbeted

If Yasu was the sunshine, Subaru was the rain. Or at least that’s what Subaru always thought.

Whenever Subaru saw Yasu, he was always smiling or concentrating, sure he had seen Yasu cry on their TV shows, but Yasu was easily moved, easily effected.

So when Subaru came into the Kanjani8 dressing room that one day to find Yasu curled in ball, crying his eyes out. He was beyond shocked. He closed the door, and locked it. Slowly approaching Yasu, touching him on his shoulder lightly.

“Yasu…” Subaru started, how was he supposed to handle this? Subaru was usually the one who had the sadness; Subaru was always the one who was a dark cloud… Yasu was the sunshine… Yasu was his sunshine…

So why was he crying?

Yasu raised his head, looking at Subaru. He seemed to start crying harder, lunging forwards wrapping his arms around Subaru’s waist.

“Subaru…” he could hear Yasu’s muffled voice. Subaru sat down on the sofa, Yasu in turn curling into his lap.

“What’s wrong?” Subaru asked, gently petting Yasu’s hair. Yasu lifted his head slightly.

“Okura told Maru that he thought that something was missing in the band. Shin-chan commented that the guitar work might need some more work, Ryo-chan had a fit and accidently knocked over his guitar, which took mine down. In the end my guitar broke, nothing could replace that guitar” Yasu started crying all over again.

“Yasu…” Subaru started… “It’s only a guitar, I would also be really upset if my guitar broke, but you have to understand that it was an accident, and you can always get a new one.”

“But… but…” Yasu went quiet… Subaru wasn’t sure why.

“What is it?” Subaru asked, he was slowly getting impatient, and Yasu burying himself in his lap wasn’t always a good thing.

“It’s the one you taught me to play on…” Yasu mumbled.

“Yasu please don’t tell me this is more about a memory than a guitar…” Subaru lifted him, looking him right in the eyes. Yasu was trying to look away.

“Yasu…”

“No…”

“… Yasu…”

“It’s not that…”

“Yasu…”

“It was a precious guitar!”

“I like you”

“It can’t just be repla…. What?”

Yasu finally met his eyes, wide with shock, but finally they had stopped crying.

“That’s all I wanted to say, now cheer up will you? How about I buy you a new one?” Subaru started to stand up, but Yasu grabbed his hand, keeping him still.

“Did you mean that?” Yasu’s eyes seemed more than curious, “you aren’t just saying that are you?”

Subaru could have just answered. He’d been watching Yasu for years, but felt that since Yasu was his sunshine, he didn’t want to rain down on him and destroy him. But here he found Yasu, crying, his sunshine temporarily hidden, he couldn’t stop the confession from coming out. He really had loved Yasu for years now.  Subaru did the only thing that crossed his mind at that moment.

He leant forwards and captured Yasu’s lips in a gentle innocent kiss.

When he pulled away, the sunshine was back in his eyes. Subaru smiled, this was the Yasu that he knew.

“Shall we go shopping for a new guitar then?” Yasu grinned, standing up, taking Subaru’s hand and leading him out the room.
