日舞(Nichibu) = Japanese Dance

Apr 23, 2011 22:45

I finally found a use for my yukata.

We needed yukata or kimono for Japanese dancing class so YAY! I can now put
good use into the yukata I bought a couple years back. And so I had my first
日舞(Nichibu) class today.

My bones hurt, specifically my ankle bones (lol I don't know what they're
called). Usually your legs would feel numb from sitting in seiza for too long,
but I was fine. Just not my bones (seriously they hurt so much ;A; ).

We got to twirl around paper fans and do spiffy tricks that everyone kind of
failed at lol, and learn how to... well, moon walk (I swear it's just like
moonwalking!) My back/spine hurts too... mostly because we have to keep our
knees bent at all times D:

All in all, this class was just as fun as I imagined and I can't wait till next week's class.

On the other hand, I really messed up in my narration class because I haven't
overcame my nervousness when I speak in Japanese in front of people I'm not
familiar with... *sigh* I really need to get used to it soon!!!
*stupid body reacting on its own!*

My teacher told me to ask Kacky for tips "when I see him at work someday" LOL
(In my head I was thinking "you mean IF I ever get the chance to work
with him... Or IF I ever get to see him... Or IF I even debut")
I seriously lol'ed so much inside puffuuuffuuuu...

And so, I'm going to start pushing myself super dooper hard until I puke out
blood or something because I want to improve SO BADLY UGAHHH!!

Oh, and by the way, all the UFO catcher machines costs apparently only 100 yen
per try this weekend at Yoyogi Sega (lol game center addict is me)
