CHAPTER 5
Genie
Heechul threw a big party for Yesung and everyone enjoyed themselves even Leeteuk had to admit they really needed the party. They played games, had a dancing contest and drank like never before. They drank so much that it was a surprise that everyone made it into their own bed properly. After the party, no one stirred until midday.
Yesung was the first to wake up just because he suddenly felt very nauseous. He dashed to the bathroom and puked his guts out. 'Is it because of last night?'Yesung thought but then he saw the blood with it. 'Nope. Definitely not.' He sighed then went to the kitchen. He wanted to cook something for the others but remembered how bad he was with cooking.
"Good morning,hyung." yesung smiled when he saw Heechul walk into the kitchen.
"Hm. ." Heechul grumpily said. He still has a massive hangover no doubt.
"Why were you watching me?"
"Why did you puke just now?"
"We partied hard last night,remember?"
"yeah but i could have sworn I saw red there."
"It's just your vision,hyung." yesung shook his head to hide his discomfort. "You should get more sleep."
"Maybe." Heechul looked at yesung for a while."You should rest,too. It can't be good for you."
Heechul disappeared to his room and Yesung swore his hyung knew something was wrong with him. He went into the living room in time to see all the other members filing in. Most of them still looked very sleepy especially Leeteuk who had strained to check that everything was under control. His eyes were even half closed and bumped into someone from time to time.
"Morning,guys!" Yesung chirped.
"Hm.." was all he got as a reply.
"You are all so weak."Yesung laughed.
The others just snorted but made no coherent response.
The room was quiet again until Leeteuk's phone rang. "Hello? Oh! Yes? That's today?! Yes,yes. We'll be there."
"Who was that,hyung?"Heechul said,entering the room.
"The manager. I forgot that we have a photoshoot and an interview today!" Leeteuk exclaimed. "Come on. Time to get ready."
Everyone murmured their protests but started to get ready. It was the start of an idol's day. After just an hour,all of them were prepared and they started to head to the two vans waiting for them.
"Yesung hyung,I'll sit with you."Donghae said.
"Nah. Sit with Hyukkie instead."Yesung said pointing to the dancing machine.
Donghae frowned but with not much convicion. Well, he did want to sit with Eunhyuk. "What if you get tired? Or throw up? I want to be there,hyung."
"I'll be fine,Hae. i'm not a baby."
"But you are." Hae teased,pinching Yesung's cheeks.
"No. I'm not."Yesung pouted,making both of them laugh. "Seriously,Hae. I'll be fine. Hang out with Hyukkie today."
"Yeah and you'll hang out with Wookie?" Donghae said,making Yesung blush. "Gotcha. Bye,Sungie ah."
"That fish."yesung said while shaking his head.
"Hey,Sungie ah." Wookie said,walking to yesung.
"Hi there."
"Come on. Everyone's leaving already. Let's sit together."
"Uhm . .sure." yesung said, pulling Ryeowook's hand to the van.
The drive to the location took about two hours. Yesung was actually feeling nauseous by the time they arrived and he relished the fresh air when they got out.
"You look like you've been in prison,hyung."Shindong commented.
"It's nothing."Yesung laughed.
The photoshoot took place immediately. The photographer wanted them to have bad boy looks so their outfits consists of black mostly. Yesung wanted to have a talk with each member but found that they had almost no time. The first one he was able to talk to was Eunhyuk. It seemed like the younger man was avoiding his hyung.
"Hey,Hyukkie." Yesung said as he approached.
"Hi,hyung." Eunhyuk said, a little distant.
"Are you mad at me?"
"No.."Hyukkie sighed then ran a hand through his hair. "It's just . . .nothing."
"Is this because of Donghae?"
"Not really."
"Yeah,right." Yesung rolled his eyes. "Hyukkie,you shouldn't get jealous of me or anything. Hae is just a good dongsaeng."
"Yeah,he is." Hyukkie smiled. "I just, you know, wish that we could spend more time together."
An idea suddenly crossed Yesung's mind. 'Your wish, eh? I'll make that come true."
Hyukkie looked at him."Make it come true? Are you a genie now?" They both laughed.
"I swear I'll make your wish come true,Hyukjae." Yesung said,seriously.
"Uhm . .okay then. I'm getting something to drink, wanna come?"
Yesung just shook his head then walked towards KyuMin who was busy playing PSP.
"Uhm,Sungmin? You too?" Yesung said.
Sungmin just laughed then nodded. "Kyu got me."
"Hey, you liked it,too." Kyuhyun protested but didn't take his eyes off his game.
"Sungmin shi! It's your turn." the photographer called. Sungmin smiled at yesung and Kyuhyun then went off. Kyuhyun raised his eyes from
his game and watched Sungmin's poses.
"You look at him when he's not here." yesung murmured.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Kyuhyun said.
"Don't you think Minnie is co cute?"
"Hey. I'm the only one who calls him Minnie." Kyuhyun said defensively then blushed.
"Gotcha, dearest Kyu." yesung smirked.
"Please don't tell."
"You sounded like a child."Yesung laughed. "I won't tell anyone. I promise."
"Thanks,hyung."
"Kyu, is there something you would like? Something you wish for?"
"What? Why?"
"Nothing. Just tell me."
"Hmm . . I would like to do something nice for Minnie."
"I can help you with that."
"You can?"
"Yeah." Yesung smiled. "Kyu,I think it's your turn now. Go!" yesung gently pushed Kyuhyun.
"What's this rumor I'm hearing that you've become a genie?" Heechul whispered.
Yesung turned around and looked at Heechul. "Yeah. Hyukkie told you?"
Chullie nodded then scrutinized Yesung. He's been acting strange ever since he got home from the hospital. "So,aren't you going to ask for
my wish?"
Yesung placed his hand on Heechul's shoulder then shook his head. "Yours,hyung, is the most obvious." then left his hyung wondering.
"Obvious?"
