CHAPTER 3
I KNOW IT,TOO
Yesung and Leeteuk went home early the next day. Teukkie's eyes were still a little puffy since he cried last night while Yesung's face betrayed no signs of worry at all. Yesung looked at the room one last time and smiled. He would miss it a little. It was a peaceful place but too peaceful for the likes of him.
"Ready to go, Sungie-ah?" Teukkie asked, grabbing Yesung's things.
"Yeah. Let's go,hyung." Yesung smiled.
The drive to the dorm was real short and quiet. Leeteuk was thinking of their busy schedules and how Yesung was going to rest in the middle of all of it. He sighed. Yesung needs to tell the manager at least so his schedule could lighten up even just a little. Arriving at the dorm, Leeteuk wanted to talk to the manager as quickly as possible but his dongsaeng stopped him.
"Please don't." yesung pleaded.
"What do you mean don't? How could you rest if your schedule is as hectic as ours?" Teukkie worriedly asked.
"I don't mind,hyung. Actually, I don't want anyone else to know about this yet. I want to pretend that nothing's wrong with me and that I'm a normal person."
"But you're not. You're sick."
"Not sick enough to stop working. Besides, it's just for 3 more months. I can handle it."
"Aish! No way,Jongwoon." Leeteuk used Yesung's real name so that must mean he was serious.
"Pleaseeee . . . . .Please Jungsoo-umma" Yesung pleaded with his cute puppy face.
Teukkie stared at his dongsaeng then sighed. "Alright,alright. But you have to take good care of yourself."
Yesung grinned then nodded. He hurriedly went upstairs since he already missed his 'brothers' so much. The firts ones he saw were Kyuhyun and Sungmin playing video games and he ran to them,making both squeal a little.
"Hyung! You're finally home!" Kyuhyun grinned. He was actually glad that his hyung was home again.
"Oh,Yesung hyung! I missed you!" Sungmin hugged the older man.
"Thanks. I missed you both so much! So,what are you playing?" Yesung asked curiously. It was really ncie to be back here.
Soon all the members rushed to the living room to welcome him home. He smiled graciously and easily avoided all questions about his health. They all wanted to throw a welcome home party but Teukkie strongly opposed it.
'No. Yesung still needs to rest." Leeteuk sternly said.
All of their faces dropped until Yesung chimed in. "We'll do it next week or something. I promise."
The others cheered then went off while Yesung and Ryeowook went into their room. Wookie was grinning like he had won the lottery or
something. There was a sparkle in his eyes, now that his love is home. He helped Yesung unpack his things and feed Ddangkoma.
"I'm really glad that you're home now,Sungie. The room felt empty without you." Wookie frowned while Yesung blushed.
"Drama,Wookie?" Yesung laughed but was still blushing.
"Hey. I really missed you, you know."Wookie pouted.
"I missed you too." yesung hugged his dongsaeng and wookie hugged him back. "Anyways, what did you do while I was gone? Did you get
to bond with the others more?"
"Hmm. . . not really. I just kept on waiting for you."
"You're really starting to get sentimental all of a sudden." yesung shook his head but he was actually very happy.
"You're so mean,hyung." Wookie complained but ended up laughing.
A soft knock was heard from the door. "Yesung hyung? It's Donghae. Can I talk to you for awhile?"
Yesung opened the door and looked at Donghae. It isn't very common knowledge but Yesung and Donghae became close friends already. "Sure,Hae. What do you want to talk about?""
Donghae looked at Wookie then shook his head. "Uhm . . .can we talk in private? It's urgent."
Yesung raised his eyebrow and saw that fishy was serious. "Uhm . .okay." He transferred his gaze to Wookie. "Do you mind leaving us
alone for a while? Sorry,Wookie." he smiled apologetically.
Wookie smiled then shook his head. "It's alright,Sungie. Hae, just take your time." then he left the room.
Yesung let Donghae in and both sat on Yesung's bed. Yesung waited for the younger one to start but Hae seemed to be busy collecting his thoughts. He just waited patiently. Donghae looked at Yesung then let out a sigh. Time to talk.
"How are you feeling,hyung?" Donghae asked.
"Fine. Just fine." Yesung replied.
"What were you sick with anyway?"
"Just some flu," The lie falling off easily from his lips.
"Flu?"
"Yeah."
Donghae turned Yesung so they were now facing each other. "I know that you're lying."
"What are you talking about,Hae?"
Donghae gritted his teeth and grabbed Yesung's collar. How could his hyung just lie like that?! "Damn! Why are you lying to me,to all of us?! I heard you and Teukkie hyung! You're sick!'
Yesung was stunned but quickly recovered. "You heard us,eh? Hae, please don't tell anyone even Hyukkie!"
"Hyukkie's my best friend! How can I not tell him?!"
"Hae,please! This is the only favor I'm asking you!"
Fishy looked at his hyung for awhile then nodded. "But, you know, were you telling the truth to umma? You can be honest with me. I won't freak out or anything."
"About? Oh, that I'm okay with dying early?" Hae nodded. "Of course not. I just don't want to worry hyung. He already has a lot on his mind and I don't want to worry him more."
The younger wanted to tell him that Leeteuk wouldn't see it as that but he knew how stubborn Yesung could be. "But . . .Sungie hyung? 3 months?" Donghae started to cry.
Yesungrubbed his back comfortingly. He hadn't notice the tears slowly fall. He shed the tears that he couldn't let Teukkie see."I know it's short but I'm determined to make it the best time of my life."
"What are we going to do without you?"
"Find a new member or something." Yesung smiled through his tears.
Donghae shook his head then stood up. "You do know that I'll be watching you closely from now on,right?"
"And you do know that I'll act as though it was nothing,right?"
Yesung hugged Donghae before letting the handsome fish out then gently closed the door. he sighed afterwards. His plan was ruined so there's no other way around it.
'Hae knows. Will he tell Hyukkie? Aish! I should have denied it. But what was Hae doing there last night? So strange. Oh! I remember! Hae left his phone there and Leeteuk hyung brought it home this morning. Hm.. I should make my last 3months into something special. Oh! I know!' Yesung smiled widely. He had a brilliant idea in his mind and just hoped he had enough time for all of it.
(.AN: So it's no other than Lee Donghae. My reason? He's my number two. haha nonsense i know.. sorry.. :) School has officially started its torture so updates wouldn't be like before)
