Kyuhyun doesn’t like people treating him like a child.
“Kyu ah, you look so cute like that in the morning!” Sungmin squealed while pinching the younger’s cheek.
Kyuhyun glared at him. “Hyung, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that?”
“Meanie.” Sungmin stuck out his tongue. “Teukkie hyung, Kyuhyunnie is bullying me again!”
Leeteuk entered the kitchen and sighed. “Min, you know that Kyu doesn’t like that. Go do that to Wookie or Henry.”
Sungmin shrugged. “They are cuter than this brat anyway.” Then he went off to find the two other magnaes.
Leeteuk looked at Kyuhyun. “Kyu, did you have to be like that so early in the morning?”
“Hyung, you know I hate it.” The younger replied dryly.
Yesung suddenly walked into the kitchen. He went to the fridge to look for some orange juice then sat down beside Kyuhyun. He poured it to a glass then smiled at their leader.
“Morning, hyung.” Yesung beamed.
“Morning, Yesungie.” Leeteuk replied.
Then Yesung faced Kyuhyun. “Good morning, dearest baby magnae.” Yesung said while pinching his cheeks.
Leeteuk gasped, he thought for sure that Kyuhyun would talk back to him like he did to Sungmin. He was surprised when the younger just laughed then grinned back at his hyung.
“Morning also, Yesung hyung. How was your sleep?” Kyuhyun said cheerfully.
“It was fine. Do you want hyung to cook something for you? It looks like Wookie is busy with Sungmin right now.”
Kyuhyun’s eyes sparkled. “I’d like that, hyung.”
So, why did he allow Yesung to treat him like that?

Kyuhyun doesn’t like it when someone disturbs him in the middle of a game.
Kyuhyun went to his room and locked it. He really wanted to play Star Craft since he finished it the last time. There was always space for improvement in his gaming anyway. He put on his earphones to make the game more realistic. He groaned when someone knocked on his door when he was just starting.
“Kyuhyun, are you there?” Donghae called out.
“What do you want?” Kyuhyun hissed.
“We’re going to karaoke. Want to come?”
“No.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
“Are you really sure?”
“Donghae hyung!”
“Fine, sheesh. Well, we’re off.” Then he heard Donghae’s footsteps in the hall.
“Finally.” Kyuhyun muttered.
Kyuhyun started to get absorbed in the game. It was easier to focus since he knows that no one would disturb him. He was mumbling incoherent things to cheer him on the game and his signature smirk always pops out every time he wins. The sudden tap on the door made him jump a foot. He groaned a lot. He was going to kill Donghae for ruining his mood. He slowly got to his feet and opened the door with a glare.
“Donghae hyung, I already said no, damn it!” Kyuhyun exclaimed immediately.
The said man at the door wasn’t Donghae though. He frowned at Kyuhyun’s word. “Uh, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have disturbed you.” Then he
bowed.
Kyuhyun grabbed Yesung’s wrist as he was about to turn away. “Wait, hyung.” Then he ran his hand through his hair. “That wasn’t for you; it
was for Fishy hyung. Why are you here anyway? I thought you guys were going to karaoke.”
Yesung sighed. “Well, we were. When we were there, I noticed that you weren’t with us. Donghae said that you were here in your room so I came back. It looks like you’re busy so never mind.”
Kyuhyun saw his hyung’s frown and smiled at him. “No, I’m not busy. I was just sitting there anyway. Let me grab my jacket and we’ll catch up to them.”
Kyuhyun almost groaned when he had to shut off his laptop but when he saw Yesung’s smiling face, he knew it was worth it.
So, why did he stop his game for Yesung?
--
Kyuhyun doesn’t like messy people.
Kyuhyun was surprised to see Yesung sprawled in Sungmin’s bed. It was almost time to sleep so he doubted that Leeteuk wouldn’t kick him out of there soon. He just shrugged to himself. He walked towards his bed and grabbed a random book. He observed his hyung instead of reading the book. His hyung still hasn’t felt his presence since he was listening to music on his headphones. He might even pass as sleeping since his eyes were also closed but the little bobbing of his head signalled that he was awake. Kyuhyun had no idea how long he stared at his hyung but he liked it.
“Kyuhyun? When did you get here?” Yesung’s voice snapped him out of his reverie.
“I’ve been here for a while. You were just too busy with the music to notice.” Kyuhyun replied in amusement.
“Oh. Hey, is it okay if I sleep here? Sungmin kicked me out of my room because he’s still mad at you.”
Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow. “He’s mad at me but he kicked you out? What kind of logic is that?”
Yesung shrugged. “Beats me. So, is it okay?”
Kyuhyun felt a smile fall to his face unknowingly. “It’s okay with me, hyung.”
The next morning, Kyuhyun was shocked to see that their room turned into a dumpster over night. He was literally stunned into silence for a couple of minutes. When he regained the power to speak, he still had no idea what to say. He rubbed his face in annoyance. Even his things were a mess. Whoever did this better clean it up soon or they’ll taste the evil magnae’s wrath.
“Where is it? Aish, where did I place it?” a voice said amidst all the mess.
Kyuhyun forced himself out of bed and found Yesung digging up Sungmin’s drawers. “Yesung hyung, what are you doing?”
“I’m looking for my phone but I can’t find it.”
“So, you made this mess? Hyung, this is just . . .” Kyuhyun stopped when he saw Yesung pouting at him.
“Kyu ah~ What about my phone?” Yesung pouted cutely at him.
Kyuhyun groaned. He was weak against his hyung’s aegyo which is why he found himself digging through their things first thing in the morning. They only stopped when Sungmin walked in the room.
“Yesung hyung, your phone has one call from your mom.” Sungmin said then threw his hyung’s phone to him.
Yesung jumped up and hugged Sungmin tightly. “You found it, Minnie! Thank you!”
“Hyung, you slept in my room, remember?” then he laughed. “Thanks for the hug anyway!” then he happily hugged back his hyung.
Why the heck is he the one cleaning up his hyung’s mess?
And what’s the small pang in his chest when he saw Yesung hug Sungmin?

Kyuhyun doesn’t really like sharing his stuff with other people.
Sharing has never been a big issue to Super Junior. Since there were so many of them living together, it was quite inevitable for them to share things. No one would be surprised to see Donghae wearing Eunhyuk’s shirt or other things like that. It was normal for them. They were brothers anyway. It wasn’t that Kyuhyun is selfish. He doesn’t mind having to trade clothes with Hangeng sometimes because their sizes were close or stuff like that. He just doesn’t like his favourite things to be borrowed. His favourite things namely his laptop.
Kyuhyun wanted to get back to the Star Craft game that was disturbed by Yesung. He’s not blaming his hyung or anything but he just wants to finish the game. He opened his cabinet to look for it there but it was gone. His five other laptops were there but not his favourite. He sighed before opening Sungmin’s cabinet, maybe he placed it there by mistake. Not there also. Where could that be? He decided to look for it in his hyungs’ rooms. He first went to Hanchul’s room since Heechul sometimes borrows his things without asking.
“Heechul hyung, if you’re doing something with Hangeng hyung, please stop.” Kyuhyun called out before opening the door.
Heechul rolled his eyes. “Hangeng is out shopping with Shindong and Kangin. What do you want?”
“Have you seen my laptop?”
“Which of them? You have six, you know.”
“My favourite laptop is gone. Have you seen it?”
Heechul snickered. “You even have a favourite. Well, I haven’t seen it. Wait, I think it’s with Yesung. He’s playing something in the living room.”
“Hyung has his own.” Kyuhyun said defensively.
“That’s right. Isn’t it broken though?”
Kyuhyun nodded. “I’ll go ask him.”
“Your loved one seems to be doing things you hate, don’t you think?”
Kyuhyun blushed while glaring at his hyung. Heechul laughed at him and it could still be heard when the magnae went to the living room. Just like Heechul said, Yesung was playing but it looked like he was having some difficulties. Kyuhyun stared at the laptop and instantly knew that it was his.
“Yesung hyung. . .” Kyuhyun called out sternly.
The older didn’t seem to notice him and just continued playing the game.
“Yesung hyung . . .” the younger tried again.
Again, he was ignored.
“Yah! Kim Jongwoon!” Kyuhyun finally exclaimed.
Yesung jumped to his feet and stood up straight. He seemed very tense until he found out it was only Kyuhyun. He heaved a sigh of relief then turned to the younger. Kyuhyun was amused by his hyung’s action and couldn’t help but smile. How can he get angry at this adorable person?
“Wipe that grin off your face, Cho Kyuhyun. That wasn’t funny.” Yesung grimaced.
Kyuhyun smirked at him. “It wasn’t funny for you, hyung. It was pretty hilarious to me.”
Yesung just rolled his eyes and picked up the laptop again. “What do you want? I’m playing.”
Kyuhyun pulled his hyung’s hand so both of them would sit at the couch. “Isn’t that my laptop, hyung?”
Yesung paused the game and looked at Kyuhyun’s eyes. “Well, yeah. Mine’s broken. Is it okay if I borrow it? I continued your game by the
way.” He said the last part with a frown since he wasn’t really good at it.
“Hey, don’t frown. You’re a newbie that’s why it’s hard. I’ll coach you.” Kyuhyun said while patting his hyung’s head.
Yesung smiled at him the way the sun breaks through the clouds after a storm. Kyuhyun smiled back at him. Winning a game is nothing compared to this.
He doesn’t even question why he’s coaching him anymore.
--
Above all, Kyuhyun doesn’t like being clueless.
Cho Kyuhyun is smart. That was a known fact. He has a high IQ and only Kibum’s was higher than his. So why can’t he figure this out? He was sitting in the living room alone again. The others were on their schedules. Luckily, his activities were done early so he had time alone. He rubbed his aching forehead.
“Let’s see. Yesung hyung treats me like a baby. Sungmin hyung did that also but I snapped at him. Why didn’t I do the same to Yesung hyung?” he grumbled while staring at the dead TV.
“I’m home!” Yesung called out. He thought that the place was empty so he didn’t try again.
“I even laughed and smiled at him when he said that. Why the hell did I do that?” Kyuhyun continued to grumble, not hearing Yesung’s entrance.
Meanwhile, the turtle lover entered the living room and saw Kyuhyun grumbling something. He shrugged it off as nothing then headed to his room. Ddangkoma comes first; he’ll check on Kyu later. When Yesung came back, Kyuhyun was still in the same position so he decided to bring him back to reality.
“Kyuhyun . . .” Yesung poked the younger’s cheek.
“He disrupted my game. Okay, maybe it was finished but still. I honestly thought it was Hae hyung. Now I have no reason to fry that stupid fish.” Kyuhyun grumbled, oblivious to Yesung’s actions.
Yesung poked him again.
“I even went to karaoke with him. I have an amazing voice, I know but I don’t really like karaokes. Aish. Maybe his weirdness is rubbing off me?”
Yesung poked him twice.
Kyuhyun felt something on his cheek and swatted it absentmindedly. “Stupid fly. Now, where am I? Oh, right. Then he made a total mess of my room which I had to clean up since he was busy hugging that stupid Sungmin. I should get revenge on him later.”
Yesung rubbed the hand that Kyuhyun swatted then tried again.
“He even borrowed my laptop without permission. I even coached his playing.’ Then he swatted something again. “Damn it, why are there so many flies in the dorm? Maybe I’m losing my mind because of them.”
Yesung puffed out his cheeks. The second time kind of hurt. “Cho Kyuhyun . . .”
“The fly knows my name.” Kyuhyun mused absentmindedly.
Yesung heard what Kyuhyun said and whacked the younger’s head. “Yah! Do I look like a fly to you?”
Kyuhyun rubbed his head then looked at his hyung. That was weird. When did he get here? “Hyung? You’re the fly bothering me?”
“Am I that ugly that I look like a fly?!” Yesung pouted.
“You don’t. You’re very handsome actually.” Kyuhyun replied without thinking.
Yesung was going to say some snide remark but he paused when he heard what Kyuhyun said. “What did you just say?”
Kyuhyun blushed. He mentally kicked himself. “I didn’t say anything, hyung.”
Yesung didn’t look too convinced. “I’ll pretend I agree with you. So, what are you grumbling about?”
“I have no idea what you’re saying,” Kyuhyun denied.
“Kyuhyunnie, didn’t Teukkie umma tell you it’s bad to lie?” Yesung wagged his finger reproachfully.
“I’m not lying.” Kyuhyun denied again.
Yesung laughed. “Your nose is red. Maybe that’s what happens when you lie.” He laughed again when Kyuhyun blushed. “So, what are you
grumbling about? Maybe I can help you.”
Kyuhyun highly doubted it but there was no harm in trying. “Hyung, what if someone does the things you hate but it’s different with them?”
Yesung stared confusedly at him.
“Different like you don’t get mad when you do at others. Something like that.”
Yesung chuckled.
Kyuhyun groaned. “Forget it. I knew you were just going to laugh at me.”
Yesung stopped chuckling and cupped Kyuhyun’s cheek affectionately. “That means one thing, Cho Kyuhyun, you like me.”
“I like you?” Kyuhyun echoed.
“Well, that’s the only reason I could see.” Yesung said with a broad smile.
Kyuhyun looked at him suspiciously. How could he take it so lightly? It was like he . . . “Hyung, did you do those things on purpose?”
Yesung cocked his head to the side and replied sheepishly. “Maybe, maybe not.”
Kyuhyun’s eyes widened. “You did do it on purpose! Why did you do that?”
Yesung pulled Kyuhyun closer and looked into his eyes. “Because Mr. Genius Cho Kyuhyun, I like you, too.” Then he kissed Kyuhyun on the lips.
Maybe Kyuhyun didn’t mind being clueless after all.
The kiss was a wonderful reward anyway.
