Random fact of the day: did you know that the mitochondria from sperm cells don't enter the fertilized egg? I totally didn't!
Second day and I'm already incredibly behind in the readings. It's very sad. I won't finish them unless I read until 1AM, but I need adequate sleep to be able to stay awake from 8 to 4 for all those lectures. And they tell us not to give into coffee. Lol.
We had a discussion about the ethics involved in using young children as subjects in research. Then they gave us lunch.
