8 - about time i guess
Hello all, my name is Matthew, 23, and I live in New Brunswick, Canada, with my boyfriend Craig. I've been on and about livejournal since 2003 with the name teh_matticus on another account then to hypnosis to now.
teh_matticus doesn't make sense - Holly named it because I couldn't make a decision :P
hypnosis was just one of the purged usernames that when I hit refresh enough times I accepted, I couldn't make a decision.
yukiblade though I picked - willingly handed over some $'s to have it. It fits most well, Yuki being a persona I adopted through online gaming through the years. If there were another world I'd fit in as a bladeclass caster of some sort, check out my stat's on my profile. :'3 this is the extent of my geekery.
So a little about me. I'm a bit strange, read above, but who isn't. I'm addicted to my growing collection of houseplants, only around 21 of them right now and I had intended on getting more today lol. I have 8 ratties, a cat, and a betafish. I enjoy anime and have been watching a few shows weekly recently; namely Accel World, SOA, Phi Brain each week and watched Fractale, Dusk Maiden Amnesia, Angel Beats, maybe a few more, and Fate Zero currently while I wait for Sunday... after not having watched any for years. I get absorbed into books, video games, movies, and everything really. I enjoy cooking, baking, cleaning, photography.
I work at a McDonalds as a shift manager and find it difficult to like it most days. I smoke occasionally, I like good food and good music (tastes in music questionable), endure a bit of depression and anxiety, and I'm hoping to do something with my life someday. I want to be a botanist when I finally grow up.
I post semi-regularly and about my day, my thoughts, my struggles. Whatever I want. As your livejournal friend I will do my best to try to have something to say on every post you make, establish a connection or something and would hope for the same in return. I read that some journals people make for a many comments, which doesn't make sense to me. I want some friends not fans. Thanks! <3 Matthew aka yukiblade
