恋して悪魔 Review (rant) CONTAINS SPOILERS
Just finished watching it yesterday...( don't even know why i watched it, considering it was soooo cliched) but it was exactly what i thought it would be... reminded me sooo much of twilight but at the same time; i didn't know which one was worse. don't get me wrong, yuma is cute and sooooo かっこい as a vampire but sometimes, the plot got really predictable. okay how bout i start right at the beginning; why he falls the teacher...i don't know, even though she is his first love before he became a vampire it's stilll wrong; i mean teacher and student.. (i can feel chills already) and his ignorant personality; though in the end, you do empathise with him and approve of his actions but still... considering that before he found out about his past, he had soooo chances to suck her blood and he didn't; for me it was like "AARRGGHHHH, just suck her blood already..."
moving on, at the start i was pretty neutral about takaki-san but as the drama got on, it got to the point where i was like; " むかついだ" and i felt like telling her to "leave it!" (most people probably won't get this...) but her moment with handa-kun on the stairs in the second last ep was really heart-warming and a contrast to the sad, gloomy ending... another thing that i realised after watching this drama, nakajima kento is soooo cool!! yeah.. through the course of this drama, i ended up becoming fans of yuma and kento and yet my views on the actual drama hasn't change...
the guy that played, Mattsun or whatever his name was, was also a lovable character, like really innocent and happens to know a lot about vampires...
and that vice-chairman guy that the natsukawa-sensei was going to marry turns really evil in the end. at first i felt sorry for him as she dumped him for a student that was her first love ten years ago but he basically the one who exposed ruka, even though he was going to go silently... so by the end, i hated him :)
ruka's speech at the end before he disappears is also really good and heartfelt.... even though i understand why he decided not to suck her blood; it was still weird for me.... but i guess it shows that vampires can have compassion too...
anyways, even though i have criticisms of this, i always have criticism about everything (except if its HSJ, then it will always be great XD) but fans of nakayama yuma should really watch it; the plot may be bad but watch it to see him as the cool guy. (personally i like a cool yuma more than a smiling yuma but yeah...) and i guess it turned out for the better....
