CWTS Adventure Part III: The Last Adventure
Finally, the last part of the CWTS activities.......
I arrived at UST around 6:15 am and then we (our group) head to the Recto Station around 7:45 am and to our surprise, the route of the LRT is up to Katipunan Station only.
The group was contemplating whether we would take the train or take the bus to reach our destination, but luckily, one of my groupmates (Veronica) asked one of the guard on how to go to Cainta when we reached Katipunan Station, and so finally, we took the LRT ride from Recto to Katipunan ^_^
We were wondering why the Santolan Station is not available....and then we were discussing about political issues such as PGMA's declaration of State of Emergency and if whether she has the power to declare Martial Law and how our lives as a student would be affected if Martial Law is applied in the country, then this old lady (no offense!) just join in our discussion saying that "Martial Law is only a rumor and that we shouldn't be afraid because we're innocent" and of course we have a negative reaction towards her.
When we arrived at Katipunan Station, we crossed the street or rather hi-way O_o (I don't know which is the right term to use) then rode a jeep to Cainta.
We arrived at Cainta around 8:10 am. It was really freaking hot and I didn't brought my umbrella with me to cover my already tanned skin (*sigh* I'm still young and yet I'm already forgetful -_-;)
Since our group was required to bring canned goods, we gave our goods to our chosen family to the community. Our next activity is that we have a total manpower, we formed a straight line and then passed around the sack of soil/rock to the constructing area. (the sack of soil/rock is heavy and both my muscles are being exercised)
We were dismissed around 10 am ^_^ and arrived home at 12:30 ^_^
Yipee! no more CWTS adventures ^_^ although we would still be going to UST on March 5 for our CWTS group evaluation -_-;
