Last Sunday...that was the 14th of May 2006

It was Mother's Day and I didn't even greeted my mom *sigh* I was supposed to greet her by surprise but somehow, my brain's not working properly and I totally forgot about it *guilts* I think this would be my first time of not greeting my mom a Happy Mother's Day...so to you Ma, belated Happy Mother's Day *smiles*

It was only the 5 of us (my godparents, my grandma, my mom, and me) who went to Antipolo on a very windy--with rains showers--day to pray there considering that the church is really crowded that we could not even step a foot inside the grounds of the church because the whole month of May was--I think--the saints birthday (sorry but my parents and relatives were Catholics and I'm not so I don't really know the religious practices of the Catholics ^^;) after that, we have bought lots of suman and some kasoy nuts

We stopped over at Blue Wave to eat a decent meal at Congees considering that the place were a lot crowded than the usual because it's mother's day, and I didn't get a chance to look at Law T-T we didn't have coffee at Starbucks at that time because we are in a hurry to go to San Juan, my grandmother's little sister's home to be exact.

So, when we arrived at the place in San Juan, inside, there were a lot of old and married women who have some kind of a meeting, actually, it's a Women's Division General Meeting, and the speaker is an old Japanese lady with a translator, who is a chinese, beside her, who happened to be a good friend of my grandma. One of the kind oba-san who was seated in front of me, gave me a lovely postcard and at the back of the post card was a poem written in Kanji words.

Never should you be defeated
For happiness awaits those
Of strong hearts!
The person who have suffered the most
Can be the happiest in the end
Never should you forget
That happiness is the flower that blooms
On the land called perseverance.

I pretty much got excited when my mother told me that the speaker waas indeed a Japanese and I've listened attentively to her speech, although I could only understand a bit...but luckily there was a translator beside her so more ore less I know what she was talking about ^_^ And I get the chance to talk to her and my brain was really drained and I think the house would flood with my nose bleeding before I could understand what she was saying --_--; When the old Japanese lady saw me and my mom, she said that we were like sisters LOL! I get that all the time when I'm with my mom *grins*

Before we head back home, we stopped by at Baclaran church to pray a gain, my godmother is a devouted Catholic, and then arrived home at exactly 6pm
