BURDEN - Preface & Character Profiles [Doujinshi]

May 01, 2008 21:49

Short description

This is my own continuation of Trigun Maximum, set at the end of volume 8. This means you should know the story up to chapter 50 (I guess that is) of Trigun Maximum. The anime alone won't get you anywhere, because some of the most important characters in this doujinshi only appear in the manga.

Note: Of course the original story of Trigun Maximum is totally different from the continuation I thought up, as all Trigun fans certainly know already. When I began to draw this doujinshi (which was a long long time ago... *coughstillnotneartotheendcough*) I didn't knew the following plot myself, so just take my doujinshi as an alternation to the original.

The Story

The story takes place after volume 8 of Trigun Maximum, but in my plotline Wolfwood and Vash are searching for Knives together and will soon meet Michael's Eye again for the final encounter with them...

As the title implies my doujinshi revolves mainly around Wolfwood, but Vash. The main reason for this is that Wolfwood is my favourite character from Trigun. But on the other hand I wanted to focus on Vash's and Wolfwood's relationship.
But this will be NO shounen ai/yaoi/slash!! (whatever you may call it)

Character Profiles

Nicholas D. Wolfwood

Age: 35 years
Also known as: Chapel the Evergreen
Weapons: Cross Punisher, Colts

Wolfwood is the main character of this doujinshi. When Vash first met him, Wolfwood said he was a priest, but soon it was revealed that he's anything but that. Wolfwood has no moral issues killing humans (or other creatures), even more so if it's the only possible way to save his own life. Throughout the time Wolfwood and Vash were together, Wolfwood got to know the ideals of the Humanoid Typhoon which totally contradict to this own. Thus Wolfwood couldn't understand most of Vash's motives and actions.

Vash the Stampede

Age: 127 years
Also known as: Humanoid Typhoon
Weapons: silver six-shot gun [--angel arm], hidden gun (in his artificial arm)

Vash is the real main character in Trigun, but in this doujinshi he only takes the second leading role. He's an outlaw whoes head is worth a $$60.000.000.000. If one sees Vash for the first time, one would call him a freak: always being happy, eating donuts, hunting the women, drinking too much from time to time - and totally crazy. But the truth is that behind this mask Vash has a vulnerable character. He's unselfish when it comes to helping people who are in need or danger and when he's angry he turns into a serious strong-willed opponent to his enemies. But all in all he possesses a gentle good-natured character and is a pacifist and philanthropist.

Well, that's it for now. The first doujinshi pages will hopefully follow soon.
