well first i must say that i was SUPPOSE to post last night but i was waaay too tired after finishing the new layout. but i got some good news, even though i have been negligent of lj for the past six months or so, i plan to start coming around a little more often...lol. i have been busy with my new business and now my sister is having her first kid - so of course it's a big deal to everyone else~ ^,^ [j/k] anyway, as a gift, i'm painting her baby room. hence, i will be gone for about a month (november) but i hope to be able to check my email while i'm gone. so what i have been up to is a lot of writing and some various art forms i managed to learn in the past couple of months. i also got a commission, so those sketches will go up after it's done.

DRABBLES & CHALLENGES
i have made some of my own challenges with rules and stuff. these are just little summaries. when i post them, it will be under the underlined category title and it will have the rules explained in more detail. if anyone is interested, i can post everything before-hand; i don't mind sharing. also, i composed a list of genres and emotions that are often referred to - yes i do get bored and do mindless things sometimes, like read and expand my knowledge. wikipedia is addictive ya know. credit is given to SMFF.net for the original lists.
My Drabble Challenge List
+ The Death Drabbles // Characters deaths.
One or more of the characters must die. You must either focus on how they die, or what happens to the remaining characters and how they cope with their loss. You can do both together, as long as it is less than five-thousand words, or separate. As such, these drabbles do not have individual words but an overall theme.
Ex. Inuyasha after Kikyou's death; Vincent after Re-L's death.
+ The First Time Fluff Drabbles // Themed limitless love.
Must chronicle the couple's first romantic and/or sexual encounter through a theme. Often sweet and gut-wrenching, it is usually cute and a little silly with lighthearted, inconsequential tones. This is not limited to anything! Crossovers are even included in this drabble.
+ The Lemon Drabbles // Themed lust-filled shorts.
Much like it says, a fic containing gratuitous sex. The themed word must bring about or become involved in the setting and/or story. However all sex should be consensual - no rape. The 100 Themes are broken up into ten sets and each set must be from the same series - absolutely no crossovers within the set.
+ The Triturate Drabbles // Vilify every character through the eyes of another.
You must choose a character from said series and then vilify, humiliate, torture, and/or kill another character that s/he dislikes. The character in question may be portrayed as anything from a buffoon to a jerk to a psychotic monster, even if s/he was never portrayed as any of these in canon. As such, these drabbles do not have individual words but an overall emotional theme; hatred, anger, jealousy, but you are not limited to these. List of Emotions.
Ex. Kikyou, from Inuyasha, can (vilify, humiliate, torture, kill - you chose) another Inuyasha character such as Naraku, Inuyasha, or Kagome. These are logical choices but you are not limited to just those three if you can justify it and it isn't too off-the-wall. Then the next drabble could be from Re-L as she views Iggy or Pino or Vincent.

+ A Love Like No Other // 100 Stars Falling from the Sky
Is yet again a SMFF.net conversion. This is in contrast to the Fairy Tales Challenge; now, you can use any couple you want (not limited to canon or series; ex. Naraku/Re-L, Heero/Kagome) with any genre you want, though keep in mind the end goal and themes you are using. Crossovers are welcome!
+ Alternate Ending Challenge // The Road Not Taken
Another SMFF.net challenge that I'm expanding. You can use any espisode (or movie) from any anime (or manga) but it must be a one-shot. The genre and theme is open but you must give enough information for the reader to understand where you are in the series. No crossovers, this is an alternate ending challenge.
+ The Fairy Tales Themes List Drabble Challenge // 50 Chances at Forever
Originally compiled for SMFF.net, I am not limiting it to just Sailormoon fiction. You can use any pre-coupled characters you want (like Usagi/Mamoru & Kagome/Inuyasha) with any genre you want, though keep in mind the end goal and themes you are using. It's being restricted to canon couples only seeing as how this is a Fairy Tale drabble.
+ The Romance Themes List Drabble Challenge // 25 Ways to Fall in Love
Originally compiled for SMFF.net, I am only changing one thing - it will not be limited to just Sailormoon fiction. You can use any characters you want, from any genre you want, although lean towards things that are romantic. This means any coupling, crossovers welcome.
