How Aerith got here.....
**Note: not all of this is remembered by her**
Aerith was engulfed by the lifestream that healed her wounds and essentially bringing her back to life.
Slightly suffering from Mako-poisoning, her staff still had the ChocoMog summon, and she manages to summon the Chocobo to take her to safety.
As the Chocobo was thundering along, it smacked into Ruby Weapon in the desert, throwing Aerith off on the ground.
Ruby starts to quick-sand attack her, but doesn't inflict damage because Cloud's team come into battle Ruby. *they obviously didn't see Aerith sinking into the sand*
Aerith is not damaged, but still weak, she falls through the sand to an underground hollow of the dessert. There she restores her strength and climbs Ruby's remains back to the surface.
....that is the background story....she only remembers bits of the lifestream and being under the desert...
