an Update of sorts
Several things...
I started Cymbalta two weeks ago for treatment of my fibro and depression. My pcp prescribed it after talking to me for over an hour at our appointment. At first I was really high off of it. Almost hyper and could barely sleep. I've leveled off on it now that my body's gotten used to the tiny dose I started on. (about 1/2 a normal adult starting dose. We're taking it slow since I react so badly to everything. Have I mentioned that I love my pcp?) We will be raising it slowly later this month.
I was supposed to see my rheumatologist tomorrow but they called and rescheduled for some time in January. Ugh. Usually, I show up and they claim that I am not on the schedule for that day despite my retaining my appointment card with the exact date and time. I think I'll be shopping for a new rheumy soon.
I also have a new obsession. Pullip Dolls. They are quirky and beautiful and so nerdy. I have five full sized ones right now. I will post more about them later (with pictures!) I currently have Eos the steampunk girl with wings, Sherlock Holmes, Andrew the Scotsman, and Snow White. My husband is excited that I finally have something collectible that I'm so excited about. He is an avid collector (and blogger now) of vintage Transformers. We have thousands of dollars worth of robots in his room. It's an impressive amount of toys.
