does the fushigi yuugi book have character desing sheets in it from the anime?

The book has pages called animation formats which are basically sketches of the characters from different views, expressions and costumes. I'm not sure if these are called character design sheets though.

01, 02 The first is an example of the animation format pages and the second is something called best scene selection that watase yuu picked for each character. All the main characters have their own pages for both of those. Sorry for the horrible photography and the previous comment, I messed up on the html ^^;
