Congratulations everyone! Especially to professors; we finally get to go home!

But don't think just because it's summer that means you can slack off, students! Learning is a 24/7 process, and you all still have a long ways to go!

That's why I want you all to keep a log of what you do this summer. Some of you may say "but Miss Yukari, we already keep these journals; doesn't that count as a log?" No it doesn't! Not for this assignment, anyway.

Rules: At the end of every week I want you to write 1-4 sentences outlining what you did that week, and how it made you feel if relevant. About 12 weeks, that'll work out to about one foot of parchment. That's not so bad, is it? And this is to be turned in on your return next year.

Since 7th years will not be returning next year, I can't rightly give them any assignments. However, as you may recall, we conducted prospect counseling sessions last month in which we discussed your ideas for what you want to do with yourself now that you're graduating. For those interested, I'd like to follow up on that interview with a paper on what you think now, now that the NEWTs are over and your future is no longer a vague concept but a harsh reality. What do you plan to do with yourself now that school is over?

This project is of course optional, but for anyone who chooses to complete it, I will be happy to fill out a shining letter of recommendation if/when you finally decide to take that first step towards gainful employment. A good letter of recommendation advising potential employers on your cooperativeness can go a long way towards getting the job you want.

If you choose to do this one final assignment, please owl it to me when you are finished.

And to those of you not entering the workforce, have fun this summer! Don't come back!

So kiddo, ready to meet your new grandparents? XD

[[Manda-chan, we must log family reunion later! :D]]
