After the somewhat - okay, extremely - disturbing events seen
on the Midnight Channel that night, Yukari had done her best to hold it together. She'd reminded herself over and over that she was stronger now, she could handle this, it was just this stupid, stupid Mall trying to get to her. She'd managed to only sob a little, and going to the cafe with Lisa had helped.
But there was only so much caffeine and girltalk could do. Sleep had been fitful by the time she got back to her dorm room, but she'd managed, dozing on and off until 9am, her sleep blessedly dreamless. It was when she looked at herself in the mirror, saw her laptop out of the corner of her eye, that she finally broke down into huge, wracking sobs.
Seeing your father's final message to you was one thing. Being shown the moment of his death and hearing your name as his final words was quite another. If you're of the sort to sense emotions or hear faint things, you might hear choked sobs coming from her dorm room as Yukari curls up on her bed, overcome with emotion. You know she won't want company to see her weakness, but...well. Nobody should have to go through this alone.
