Macbook

My new Macbook's screen hinge creaks and squeaks when the thing warms up and it's god damn annoying. Apple said it's a 'cosmetic' fault and is not covered by warranty. It seems that quite a few people on forums who have the black Macbook have the same problem. Well, fine. I went and ordered a Glide Kit which consists of a lubricant and tools specially designed for the Macbook in order to reduce the hinge resistance. My otherwise smooth transition from using Windows 100% of the time to Macintosh has be tainted by dodgy Apple quality control. Oh Apple, maybe you should feed the slave labourers in iPod City better tofu tomorrow at dinner.

But overall I'm pretty impressed by the Mac. Mac OSX is very nice both in functionality and looks, and iTunes works a lot better in OSX than in Windows. So well that I sold my old mp3 player and got a brand new 80GB iPod yesterday.

Enough tech talk for now...
