I would bring Japan home to my parents, just because he's super polite and I think my parents would love him. Though Ithink my dad may be a little shocked by the idea of a boy who's actually poliite and doesn't mumble when he talks.
On the opposite side of that, I would never ever bring Gilbert home to my parents because theywould have violent flashbacks to my older brother's really bad deliquent days. And I would never do that to them because those were horrible days. ...Even though I find Gilbert endlessly amusing.
