Play-asia flawed, wrong-sent item.

This is actually what happened to me. Last month, i ordered 2 cds, which are YUI's My Short Stories (MSS) Limited Edition [CD+DVD] Hong Kong vesion, and Hey Say JUMP's Your Seed Regular Edition. I ordered around 26 or 27 of June and due to not in stock item, it was delayed until 4th July. But on 4th, they only sent one of my item, Your Seed CD bcs the other one still not in stock. They deliver it separately without any addition in shipping charge. Then 6th July, an email came noticing me about the item, MSS, already sent.


Your Seed and MSS arrived on 11th and 15th of July respectively. Your Seed is fine. The problem is with MSS. I ordered LE, but they sent me RE. Of course, the price differ, everybody aware that LE album will always be more expensive than RE album. I sent them email telling they sent me the wrong item. So they asked me to attached pictures of the CD album i got. I did, they told me to return the item using the cheapest shipping method and they will sent me the right item after that. The shipping back fees will be refund to me as store credit. I asked if they can refund me the balance instead, so i can just keep the item i received. But they said, item i received cost more than what i've ordered. What the fish is that? i never know LE can be cheaper than RE. =____= .

I explained to them. Then a reply email said they just charge me with 'they stated the amount i paid'. What is that?! i know how much i was charged, n that was exactly the amount i paid, i'm fully aware of that. I did a second attempt of explanation.They insist the price for RE is higher than LE, n stated the price for RE Japan version. Of course japan version is a lot more than HK version. I respond to them stating the price they mention is for japan version.n i told them to study about their product, difference between HK and Jpn version, and also difference between LE and RE. I just let them be, n will never buy anything from them again. The customer service are so clueless about the whole thing i'm talking about. I bet they don't even understand my explanation. I'm not good at pressuring them, so i just gave up.

What happen to be a mystery to me is, My Short Stories RE Hong Kong version is listed as out of stock item. How can they send me out of stock item? Really absurd. How can a customer service gave such a ridiculous answer. Interacting with them made me angrier.

I wrote this to record a flaw made by an online store so everyone can take precaution before purchase from this site. If you wanna buy new release cds, it's better to use cdjapan. I never use it, but a lot of people recommended. YESASIA is okay, only use it once, and it arrive on 12th day after shipping. I think YESASIA is more reliable than play-asia. Tho the price is a bit higher, and they only offer free shipping for purchase more than USD39, the service is better than play-asia.

*play-asia standard shipping quite fast, took 7 days to reach me in Malaysia( some fellow Malaysian also said the same).
