So I had my orientation at Target today with one other person and we were talking, getting to know each other and I asked his age and he was 18 and was starting college in the fall. It made me feel crippled when I told him I was 22 and just finished college ( Read more... )

Pretty much what I was going to say. Hey, data entry isn't my dream job, but it was something to do until something better came along. And something better has come along. So be patient and confident :)

that is how i look at it. i'm currently in the same boat. i'm looking for the same type of job, just a different environment and i know it will come along eventually.

Heck, I'm 23 years old and NO COLLEGE. I feel way beyond shitty so at least you did finish college! That's quite an achievement. Please don't give up on yourself. You're doing the best you can *hug* Good luck with the Target job. It's something to bring in money until you can find a better job.

Yeah seriously. The good news about Target is you'll make some money until something better comes along and then you don't have to feel badly about quitting. OR if you are super-woman maybe you can stay on the team and work 10 hours a week during the year for some extra cash. OR maybe since you have this job it wouldn't make it so tragic if you ended up with a less than full time job (.6 or something) because you'd have another job already to make up the income with.

I say GO YOU for getting a job to take your mind of the final stretch of the job search.
