Yuhji walked up to the school with his schedule in his hand. He looked it over a few times and had to push his orange sunglasses back onto his face a couple times so they wouldn't slip off. Amanda came skipping down the hall, in a happy-go-lucky way. She'd felt like skipping, so she started skipping. Unfortunately, she's not very coordinated in general, and she kept nearly running into things, including people.

She nearly ran into Yuhji, managed to stop before actually hitting him and blinked at him a few times before smiling. "Hi, I'm Amanda Evers. Are you new?"

Kazuya at that moment walked past Amanda. "Gold digger." he said in a sing song voice and a gave a wink

Yuhji took note of what Kazuya said as he walked past Amanda. He didn't care if it was true or not because he didn't exactly feel like making friends with Amanda or with anyone really. They'd have to prove that they were good friends before he would accept them which would be rare if he did accept them.

"Friends?" Yuhji said. "You sure jump into things without thinking things through, don't you."

Amanda rolled her eyes at what Kazuya said, making it clear she was getting annoyed with him, then blinked at Yuhji. "I'm not very good at thinking. I'm pretty stupid." she replied, giving him a naive smile. "Besides, life's too short to wait around for things to happen."

She looked down at the ground. "Of course, a stupid girl's opinions aren't important." she muttered, looking a bit sheepish.

"Life is too short for some, but too long for others." Yuhji replied thinking about how his past has effected him now making his life seem too long.

"So do I!" Amanda said, smiling. 'I at least have to keep up a pretense of having friends...it doesn't do to look like a loner, and apparently have people think I'm a stalker.' she thought.
