Inane nonsense.

It's been a while since I last did a proper post on my life's updates. Work has eaten up a considerable amount of my days that it's sometimes difficult to find time for myself.

That is not to say that I don't enjoy my work. Far from it. In fact if I had to say I'm lucky enough to find my own purpose, my raison d'etre, if I may call it that. But it does get tiring when you come back home at past 9 o'clock almost every night for the past couple of weeks.

I meant to write a Hari Raya post when I came back from Johor after the festivities, but unfortunately due to work commitments and circumstances known best to God and myself I haven't been able to properly sit down and sift through the photos that I took during the celebrations. And by the time I actually do have the time, I'd probably have lost all interest in writing it, and have forgotten what actually happened throughout that weekend.

IN ANY WHICH CASE.

Anime Festival Asia is around the corner, and I am STOKED, to say the least. JAM PROJECT coming down to Singapore has got to be one of the best things to happen in a while. I've been listening to their songs day in and day out, and I do so hope that they will be performing Skill and Gong, as it's these two songs that I've always wanted to scream and jump to whenever I see their concert videos.

Courtesy of slay_x, I was able to get my hands on a gem of an album, a limited edition version of Megumi Hayashibara's Plain, and also two Slayers artbooks. Now you may wonder why this of all things when there are artbooks out there that are more visually pleasing than an antique title like Slayers. And to answer your inquiry I would have to say that..I just like it that much. Slayers has been a childhood favorite of mine alongside shows like Akazukin Cha Cha and Tomatoman. There are hardly many titles that can match up to the classics in my opinion, and I've yet to be proven wrong.

Come to think of it I should have probably asked for a JAM PROJECT CD as well, but oh well, what's done is done. Oh well, I'll just see if I can grab a single or something off of Amazon or E-bay, whichever works.

Anyway, with writing as a full-time job, you'd guess that I'd get sick and tired of writing even more on my LJ. I suppose this maybe true, but I've more or less learned the art of turning off my brain while I blog, which is why I suppose you can see that I ramble on certain points endlessly.

But alas, work is never truly finished, and now I must sally forth and scour my already rotting brain for creative ways to make articles come to life. Or something like that, I don't know.

I'm just sayin'.

p/s: This is just a habit I picked up recently at work. I must admit it does irk me sometimes that I do this.
