Plans for a PC upgrade has ended up in smoke.

So instead, I'm channeling all possible funds to upgrade my sound setup. Now of course this isn't the be-all, end-all solution, as the quest for audio perfection is always riddled with massively steep cliffs and premium prices (trust me when I say that you can buy a house with a really really good setup). And believe me when I say that my planned setup is considered cheap by a lot of standards.

Edifier R2000T 2.0 studio monitoring speakers (RM350) (Getting it this weekend)
Auzentech X-Fi Bravura 7.1 soundcard (RM400)
*Pro-Ject headphone amp (RM900)
**Audio Technica M30 studio monitoring headphones (RM250)

*Looks expensive but it's the cheapest of the lot. The only option if I were to go for something cheaper is to buy or make my own DIY amps. A good option but screw having to change the tubes every so often.

**Ultimately I intend to get AKG's K702 headphones, but that would have to wait until I have saved up enough money after getting the amp at least because the price gap between the M30 and K702 is over 1000 ringgit, and the amp is necessary to
